I didn't want you to miss this one.

It's worth every minute especially for the science minded.

It's worth every minute especially for the science minded.

The province of science is the material world. It is silent on metaphysical things, and has nothing to tell us about how the physical and metaphysical interpenetrate and interact. You are barking up a nonexistent tree.

Admittedly, you won’t be the first to make this mistake. Supposedly intelligent people like Teilhard de Chardin were equally confused.

At least I'm not trying to psss on it! Did you even
read the header? Here it is in case.

A thread for seekers who want to explore the Christian path..

If you were here in that context you would've watched the movie.

So all I'm saying is that's why I posted it. I still implore you to do so.

I don't waste valuable time staring at screens. But I did go and look at your ‘book’.

I was not impressed. What a pity you wasted so much time and effort on such a thing.

At least I'm not trying to psss on it

It’s called criticism, and we writers must learn how to deal with it.

...seekers who want to explore the Christian path...

There is nothing Christian about it. Nothing whatsoever.

Neither do I. I welcome new information.

Well you won't see Richard Dawkins in it for a plus. lol

Normally I'd say fine and not give a crap. But I'd really like your
honest opinion. So last try please, it's not a waste of time. The
particle physics of gem stones are explained. In regards to how
the stones were placed on the breast plates of the Levite priests.
An essential part of the garments worn for protection when ever
they had to approach the arc of the covenant.

i'll pay you.

You don't have to pay me. Just ask a question.

There's also Arbitregeur's megathread, 'Ask me any question about physics', where you might get a more expert answer.

If you like, I'll start. In a nutshell, what effect do you think these gemstones have?

It isn't exactly known what type of phenomena the arc was
producing or even to what degree. Other than energy it would
have to be something their specified garments would offer
protection against. See that's the point trying to find out more
about the arc. Why can't you be a little more like Indy? And put
aside whatever distaste for religion you have in the name of
science or knowledge. I promise you won't acquire a sudden
fetish for street corners, signs, door knocking or the apocalypse.
lol
Nobody will make you ride a bicycle, speak in tongues or dance
with rattle snakes okay? I know religion gets pretty whacky. And
trust me I stay the hell away from it for the most part. Ahh!
whatever I gave it my best shot. No biggy, I'll just go walking
off cursing out the side of my neck, no wait a minute?
If you don't watch the movie you leave me no choice but
to PRAAAAY for you. Now how bout that Mr. Mule? huh?

In fact I might start following you around ATS as my new mission.
Offering up prayers where ever you go. I'm kidding don't get excited.

Here just click for geez sakes.

Okay. You don't have a meaningful question. You just want people to watch the video you made.

Make something interesting and worth watching, I might watch it. I'm not into being bored.

Yet you're here in a thread meant for people searching the Christian path ridiculing Christians. If you're going to critique a writing it's supposed to be constructive criticism (and I doubt you read very far at all). You're just being a sourpuss.

It gets to a point where it starts being about sex, commission based like referrals, an feel good feelings rather then hard body status like Jesus.

It appears that the maker of the film is on another thread....
This one:
www.abovetopsecret.com...

How do you know if a film is boring or not if you don't watch it?
How could you know whether it is interesting or not if you haven't seen it?
How do you judge if it's worth watching?

How do you know if a film is boring or not if you don't watch it?

Like most people, I read faster than someone can talk. Watching information delivered on a screen is tedious; I'd rather read it. Hearing someone in person is a little different but video bores me. Except video of musicians performing.

How could you know whether it is interesting or not if you haven't seen it?

Thirty years in media-related professions and a lifetime of curiosity have taught me this.

How do you judge if it's worth watching?

Here's how I buy books (except for professional reasons). I see something in a shop that attracts me. I read the title or the author's name or I like the cover or whatever. I read a cover blurb if it's that kind of book. Then without further ado I open the book and read the first sentence. If it attracts, I read the first paragraph. By the end of that -- or the end of Page 1, whichever comes first -- I've either put the book back in the rack or taken it over to the cashier.
