Researchers in Japan have transformed mosquitoes into vaccine-carrying syringes by genetically engineering the insects to express the vaccine for leishmaniasis–a parasitic disease transmitted by the sandfly–in their saliva. According to a study in Insect Molecular Biology, mice bitten by these mosquitoes produced antibodies against the parasite. It’s not yet clear whether the immune response was strong enough to protect against infection.
Releasing the mosquitoes would also mean vaccinating people without their informed consent, an ethical no-no. Yoshida concedes that the mosquito would be “unacceptable” as a human vaccine-delivery mechanism.
Can these bloody irritating insects be used to spread a cure

I was just working on my laptop and saw the first mosquito as temperatures are beginning to rise.
My mind started racing, worried that flying insects could be vectors for Covid. That idea was quickly shot down after a quick search. Mosquitoes cannot trasmit the coronavirus.
However, I had an inversion of thought. Can these bloody irritating insects be used to spread a cure... I was thinking of bio-engineering. I don't know anything about the subject and thought to myself that it's too much of a futuristic idea.
Lo and behold, after another quick search, my notion is actually being studied, even if a practical application is not possible at this time.

The problems are not just technical, but ethical, too. This obviously opens up a whole new can ofmosquitoesworms!

Anyway, if and whenever this becomes feasible, there will always be mosquitoes available. They were here millions of years before us, they will outlive mankind... maybe they can save us from disease in the future, but they will never save us from ourselves.

Yes, absolutely! That's the same plot of the movie "I Am Legend".

That would be all fine and dandy if TPTB actually wanted a cure.
If people think that’s what these vaccines are for, they are sorely mistaken.
Population reduction with a heavy dose of socialism is closer to the agenda.
