New member and want to know what is the nwo?

I recently became a new member of the fascinating website, and I soon this discovered they had all sorts of topics covered such as the nwo. I heard rumors of such sort, but i really never understood what it really ment. Like who is behind the nwo, it is hostile or friendly, where did it originate, stuff like that. so any one with a good sense of the nwo and really knows what there tlking about please post ur answer here. thank u!
