How Are People In Their 20s Finding A Mate During The Pandemic?

I'm missing something here. Wasn't referring to the virus as much as to the societal changes.

I'm not 20 something, more like middle aged, but I successfully found a good woman during the pandemic.

Dating apps, Bumble seems to have the better selection of women now. The woman has to initiate conversation. Tends to be fewer Instagram models looking for followers than it's competition.

We had to chat a long time, especially when I had a Covid scare. We met at a park the first time, grabbed take out. Went to an outdoor restaurant another time, met at an outdoor art exhibit another time.

Now I feel like I'm entering one of the strongest relationships ever. We had to spend so much time talking to each other, that we have great communication skills.

I was tested before we got close physically. She's tested regularly as she's a high risk.
