Your Garbage man is spying on your trash

I do it to delay periods between moving trash bags.
They cant recycle most of it anyway. You cant make new PET bottles out of used ones. It's contaminated with millions of other chemicals and plastics. It's most likely being burned. Most of it. If they burn it it's ok but it should be free. They use the profit to spend it on BS. It's a socialist scam

Our recycling is pretty barebones. They are very limited on what they'll accept. Glass is a no and requires a drive to the recycling center to dispose of it. So, it goes in the garbage.

It seems like every month, our recycling/trash bill goes up but service is not up to par. Given the corruption that has been uncovered recently in this town, I'm not surprised.

We were just forced to pay for a set of three bins (garbage, compost, recycling) that get lifted automatically by the truck. Over a hundred bucks for bins with tiny wheels that don't work in our rural setting plus they have bar codes on them so that's a big no from me.

I am not organized enough to get them out in the morning anyhow so they will get used on the property for storage, etc. Here they don't even take back glass so not much point. All recyclables with deposits I take to town. Tins rust into the soil, I reuse most glass and compost everything possible. End up with a bag of plastic to the dump two or three times a year.

The bar codes bother me.
