Both gernders are at fault, no one is perfect. People from earth, or otherwise. the only way to change is to look at oneself and know the faults, then change them. Yes, hitler was a man, and 100 percent of nazi's were a man, but men aren't the only ones who did cruel things. Ever hear of the sisters of magdelene? these nuns would put these girls through horror and terror. If by stating, man is a pig, then are women at fault to? The mirror shines both ways.

I have figured out the problem with men: women.
More specifically, their Mother.
They want their Mama.
Mama to care and feed,
Mama to rebel against.
That's their problem.

This has become a real problem for me, in that I have never lived in a "family unit". I had not mother nor father. I was hoping we (me and whatever man) would work together, yet still be ourselves. Sounds workable, hm?

Ufobeliever, I know how you feel. I had a father and step-father who rejected me. My mother's boyfriend abused me as a child, and every relationship I've had with my boyfriends has ended with them thinking they were better off without me.

But I had to realize that not all men are evil or irresponsible. There are some great men in this world and just because I had negative experiences with some doesn't make them representative of all of them. You'll find that most men are human, flawed and trying to find their way just as women are. The worst thing you can do is to make generalizations based on a few experiences.

Okay, as for you, Truth, I find your comment disturbing because you're lumping in all people who are very sexual or work in the porn industry with adulterers and prostitutes. You implicate porn and high libido as the cause of all marital infidelity and other social problems.

You say that god wants us to be chaste. What is his definition of a "chaste" individual? Is it someone who only has sex when they're married? Is it only using sex as a tool for reproduction? From what I've observed, it seems that god created us humans as sexual beings and to find sex extremely pleasurable. Why would he make this a part of our biological make-up if he wanted to severely restrict our sexual activity?

I'm assuming you're talking about the bible when you say that god demands chastity. This is the same bible that says it's okay to own slaves, stone disobedient children, adulterers, homosexuals, and people who worship other gods. I don't know about you but I think god is for more merciful and loving than that.

Also in my experience, people who rail with such ferocity against sexuality usually are projecting there feelings of guilt and sexual temptations on others. I can see why, as you said, you often feel worse than other people. Please consider exploring other views on sexuality and why you find it nescessary to think of most sex as an evil, sinful act.

From the beginning of time one of their top goals has been to degrade and keep men as second rate humans. but I think it's time men really fought back!!! I mean never even getting involved in a relationship with a woman. Be completely independent and ignore women like the dogs they are.

woman have caused just as much pain as males. so get off your high horse. ok sure women have not held the actual power throughout history so what. women have done very well in getting men to do their dirty work for them. there are many stories throughout histery where women have destroyed men. just look at today. all a woman has to do is call out sexual harrasment to get a male fired and blackballed.

i personaly am sickend by the attitudes of some women.as long as it is to their benifit keep things the same. but when it is not to their benifit they should be equils. get a grip. why should you have it both ways? why do females demand that a male do the heavy work and then complain they should be treated the same. at work anytime a car battery needs to be moved call the guys "i'm a girl you take it". but don't you dare make a coment that they should not be in that possition.

i hear females make snide remarks about guys, but if a guy makes a similer comment it is harrasment. why is this , where is the equality from them? if you want to be equil then damit be equil in all things. one of my favorit thoughts from work is "you are trying to rip me off cause i'm a girl" get real a guy is far easyer to rip off. just throw in a few cool buzz words and they are hooked. a female on the other hand wants to know in detail what it is. now this is not true for all but it is true for a lot of them.

i realy wish some of these females would stop whineing equality. i personaly don't give a damm if you are a guy or a girl (except for romance and stuff of that nature). most of us don't. if you can do something do it. don't expect guys to treat you like "a lady" and do it for you. just so you know there are probably some things a guy may be statisticaly better at ,the same is true in reverse. in welding for instance females have been noted at generaly being superior at tig welding than males.

just remember that a lot of the time a guy is just treating you the way that other females seem to want to be treated. don't blame them blame the other females. we can only go by past expactations we are not mind readers. some men are pigs no doubt about it but so are some women. don't blame the masses on the actions of a few. if you realy want to be equil then just be equil, prove you are up to the task. don't just whine about it.

If what you say where even half true, then women would be both foolish and stupid to get involved with them. Evil and stupid, that's some combination, but it seems to keep all this going. That and a little dash of greed.

If you are even half way sincere, then I suggest a life of religious solitude. Mother Theresa seemed to do just fine without a man. now one quarter of the world has just been wiped out by a tsunami, so there is plenty of work for religious celibates to do!

Far more crimes are committed by men, that is hard to argue. Men are more physically violent than women, also hard to argue. It still does not make all men evil. Women do their dirty work in different ways, it is most easily recognized in school children, where boys punch each other out, girls spread false rumours, or use other more subtle ways to fight each other. No gender has a monopoly on good or evil. I would suggest that the only way the sexes have a hope of understanding each other is through much communication. I may never totally understand how women think, but thats okay, I dont have to in order to get along with them, imho.

well, yes, basically men are dominant in society, EVERY society, I think woman should have rights, but theres just things that is a mans job, not a womans. woman cant go topless in the streets while men can, I agree with that rule, JUST because of their sex, size dont even count, heck a man could bigger there, but its just that woman have no place lookin like a buncha sluts there, inaceptable. and big deal if men rule society, not like in the US woman are discriminated against, cause for the most part their not, and if ya got a good man then he will love you and cherish you, not treat you second class.

When I was in PSR a long time ago I had this radical PSR teacher for comfirmation. Seriously she was mad, she believed everything what any priest, pope whatever woul say. She believed everything about mortal sins ppl write. I have proof b/c she would always read it out loud in class, this was so crazy. You know what a mortal sin was on her perpective? Anything you do that you do in front of god without worsphiping god and putting him first. THATS WHY I WANT TO QUIT CATHOLIC STUFF! You can never be yourself. For example, doing this right now, this whole site, the internet, everything! This is putting your self in front of god. Its all a form of control which the Illuminati want to do to take over the world. The pope is illuminati. You cant do stuff you want to do you have to do everything for god. Say everyone was like this, we all would be frikin robots. And robot is some word in a lang. in europe that means forced labor. I want to do what I want to do. I never go to church!

I feel the same way, but not just about men, but about humans in general. I hope they all become extinct and the reptilians take over!

I'm not like that at all, and I don't agree one iota with what you said.

Men are evil. But a necessary one.

I shall not give up men. They are not so bad as long as you whack them with a big mallet or sledge hammer a few times before grilling them. Fresh Rosemary is a good way to neutralize their stench and impart a clean, fresh flavor to them.

However, if you wish for the more exotic fare, deep frying them is a bit trickier. Its recommended that you run them over a few times with a tractor to get them pliable enough to form into friable patties. use olive oil too, and loads of garlic. Men are no good in their natural state. They need to be properly marinated.

If you are a vegetarian, it doesn't mean men cannot serve a useful purpose. Their household uses are endless. if you gut them and fill them up candy then hang them from your roof gutter, they make innovative pinatas that will impress your friends. Grinding them up and mxing them with cow dung will give you a wonderful compost that will grow any plant your friends can envy. They can also be theraputic as well. For instance, chain one up to your table. Whenever you are performing a stressful task, such as taxes, work reports, party planning, and come to a burnout stage, you can kick them a few times. It will make you feel alot better. They can also be used as test bunnies when you are trying out new hair color, or a new hairstyle, by doing it on them first to see if it works.

There are endless uses for men. Test subjects to perform experiments on for the scinetific hobbist, door stops, oil pans, bubble wrap, pet food, flower pots, furniture, or a general purpose gimp.

So please don't give up on men. Not until you have exhausted all possibilities!

Sure men have their setbacks. Yet women do too. I have a hard time getting along with other women because I find them all to be so catty and competitive. With my female friends, everytime something bad or good happens to me and I confide in them, they have to one up me with a worse or better experience.

The whole sexual harassment thing gets out of hand too. I knew this guy who got fired from one of my old jobs simply because he would say hello and good morning to the ladies, he was not an attractive man, kinda dorky...so a lot of women would complain about him. All he did was smile and say hello, no winking, no undressing with the eyes...nothing but hello. It was really sad.

There are plenty of women gold diggers, women who cry wolf, and cheaters among women as well. I know many women who have called the police on their men and said they were being beaten just because they weren't getting their way. We women certainly have our dogs too.

In the US, we live in an androcentric (male centered) culture. The norms and power hierarchies revolve around men. As a sociologist I can tell you that this is just as damaging to men as it is to women. Any sociologist will tell you that humans, both male and female ones, do exactly as they are socialised to do and that the gender roles themselves are not real, but are in fact constructed by society.

During the construction of gender roles men are placed in power and are taught to be as agressive as necessary to keep power. Early in the life of a male he is taught his gender role. As he sobs over a skinned knee or the loss of a toy he is told, "Boys don't cry."

There are three things to remember about "boys don't cry."
1) It is a description of a "real" boy.
2) It is a prescription for how this boy should act.
3) It is a lie. After all, he is already crying is why the phrase is being used.

Males are lied to continuously about how they are supposed to act until they learn to repress any emotion but anger. Then they become "real men" and fit into their gender roles.

The same thing is done to girls. We say, "Girls don't climb trees," as we look up at her sitting on a limb. When she has learned to repress her sense of adventure and just concern herself with her looks, she becomes valued as a "real woman."

The result of all this socialisation is that men start wars and are responsible for the majority of violent crime. If this were a gynocentric culture and the norms and power structure revolved around women, then women would be made to repress their emotions and would then start wars and be responsible for the majority of violent crimes.

Men are also 4 times more likely to successfully commit suicide than women. They are more than 10 times likely to die on the job. They are 4 times more likely to abuse drugs or alcohol.

Women are more likely to be poor. (They are paid about 3/4 of what men make in the US.) Women are 10 times more likely to work in the sex trade than men.

Women are featured in pornography, not because they are evil, but because men pay them to pose. In case you are not aware, men are the subjects of pornography, too - although not as often as women. To blame only the women is silly though. They wouldn't do it if men didn't buy it. It takes two to tango.

With all this said, men really only react in the way that our culture teaches them to react. Women do the same. Either sex is capable of atrocity when in power. To start a "rant war" over a problem one is having with the other sex is in bad form I think. Although I can relate to the frustration of experiencing problems with a significant other, is it really fair to say that all men (or all women for that matter) are evil? All it accomplishes is to put those around you on the defensive.

If all problems were because of men, then every lesbian couple in the world would be perfectly at peace, perfectly united, perfectly happy, and perfectly productive - and every gay male couple would end their relationship with some sort of bloody coup. Do you suppose that is true? It is not.
