"@realDonaldTrump just landed at Andrews on AF1. Shortly before, while descending, we flew right over a small object, remarkably close to the president’s plane. Resembled a drone though I’m no expert."

Air Force One Just Had A Near Miss With A Drone According To Reporter Onboard

This is pretty interesting. A reporter allegedly saw a drone out the window of Air Force one on approach to Andrews AFB.

This comes on the heels of a military helicopter being shot at around the same area. By any means necessary? Or coincidence.

It is top notch security.

Your president is not dumb.... he knows there is "something in the dark" wanting to kill him but no worries he is always a few steps ahead.

"drone" is a poor description here.
Was the "drone" a full size aircraft?
was it a battery operated quad copter?

And was it really a "near miss" as the headline reads?

This is an interesting case, as we can see that one reporter twitted about it, saying it was "remarkably close" and that it "Resembled a drone though I’m no expert".

The next twit says that "Multiple people on AF1 saw what appeared to be a drone" and that "We came very close to hitting it, per @SebastianAFP, who had a window seat."

Well, we just saw that Sebastian didn't say that.

That's why we say in Portugal that those that recount a story add a point, each repetition of a story has a tendency of making it more (or less, according to who tells it) important.

Considering the plane was landing on an Air Force base I suppose it could have been one of them, as I don't think the Air Force would allow drones around their bases, specially when AF1 is landing.

With so little additional detail or description, this incident should just go on the list with all the others we already know about. What is of greatest concern to me - is what incursions or attempts we have NOT noticed or been informed of.
It's not like the MSM is going to report any attempts. They can't have anyone rallying around the President.

He was probably gagged. Can u imagine AF One crashing because if a drone!

Doesnt matter who is Prez...that is not a good thing. Combined with the Huey taking rounds earlier....

Another reporter onboard is confirming the story.

Jennifer Jacobs
@JenniferJJacobs
Multiple people on AF1 saw what appeared to be a drone just below the plane as we were descending toward Joint Base Andrews.

We came very close to hitting it, per @SebastianAFP, who had a window seat.

No, she says that "multiple people" saw it but only points to the same twit we already know about.

And she says the twit says thing it does not.

Ummm yes. She is a second person confirming several people saw an alleged drone. Therefore it is no longer a single source.....firsthand knowledge. The other person merely noted how close it was to AF 1.

Wouldn't he have been on a different plane then or given the pilot advanced warning if he is "a few steps ahead"

No, she is not confirming several people saw because we don't have any other account of several people seeing it.

The original Twit doesn't mention other people seeing it, she is the one saying several people saw it but points only to the original Twit from Sebastian Smith, so the only thing we have is a Twit and another person pointing to the Twit and saying it says things it does not.

Therefore it is no longer a single source.....firsthand knowledge.

It's only one source, she doesn't say she saw it.

What we really have:

1 - A Twit from Sebastian Smith saying that he saw what he thinks was a drone "remarkably close" to AF1;
2 - A Twit from Jennifer Jacobs saying several people saw it and saying that, according to Sebastian Smith, they "came very close to hitting it", which Sebastian Smith's Twit doesn't say;
3 - An article about it that says that "reports are emerging" but points only to the two Twits.

So, no confirmation that several people saw it, that it was a drone or that it almost hit the AF1.

The report is always very vauge.
It could be between a kid with a small camera,
Or full size, fully loaded predator drone.

They want folks reading sh__ into it that isn't there.
The glory factor.

White House reporters are arrogant.

They think if the military had something (i.e. a drone) to help guard Air Force One during takeoff and landing, certainly they would know about it.

WRONG.
