I appreciate you for sharing this info with us. Even gave you a star and a flag. However, here is my surprised face:

I mean, it is 2020, right? I am expecting the Flying spaghetti monster to show up soon.

That’s one of the reasons I love my state of California;

Everything here is of “Biblical” proportions, Earthquakes, Floods, Plagues,

Pillars of Fire...!

It’s like living in God’s Own “Area 51”!

Obviously they are preparing us for another film in the Sharknado franchise.

Went from 600 to nearly 20000 acres.

It's moving closer to Reno and it is dry, dry, dry here. It's also very windy.

Used to launch rockets near Black Rock near Gerlach, North-ish of Reno, NV.

I remember that there was very little but dry scrub between Reno and Wadsworth, and between Wadsworth and Black Rock.

But there always seemed to be a dry wind blowing, especially across the playa.

Bad, bad mojo where fire is concerned!

What a remarkable disclosure event it would be, if one of those "mile wide triangles" would show up at a huge fire like firenado, and just put the sucker out. Now.. there would be an event that would take peoples mind off of the bad things that happened in 2020.

Jest, of course, but what else are we in store for this year?

I wouldn't call it apocalypse as much as "fall". Fire tornados occur in tiny canyons like it's nothing in a Santa Ana fed fire. Swirling winds abound.

Nothing says October/November like 105 degree 35 MPH sustained winds, 7% humidity, and mandatory evacuation orders for Aguora Hills and Calabasas.
