An outbreak of coronavirus that infected more than 1,500 people at a German slaughterhouse may have been spread by "circulating air".

Experts fear COVID-19 can be spread inside facilities like the Toennies meat plant in Guetersloh because of the systems they use to pump out cool, moist air inside enclosed rooms.

Martin Exner, director of the Institute for Hygiene and Public Health at the University of Bonn, said: "What has not been known so far is that under such conditions circulating air can keep an aerosol moving.

Akx 0/' lj, th

Note the continued use of " may have " speculations in regard to these meatpacker and abattoir outbreaks.

Also note in the linked articles first pic , the cartoon depiction of the animals they process. What's there above their tails ? It's the heart within a heart symbol.

Mr Exner continues :

"And that this is another risk factor that has been overlooked so far. That is the crucial message I have to report here now."

Mr Exner said outbreaks at meat plants in Germany, the US, Britain and France showed the need to reconsider how such factories are set up.

So his " may have " ( aerosols movement ) is now a crucial message .
Every one of these speculations covers the fact that if , or rather when the truth comes out , there's no comebacks citing straight lies . From public health authorities , no less .

The outbreaks around these places could get way out of hand . But , the industrial premises are deemed to be critical infrastructure .

And that is what they are , and how they're allowed to get on with doing really , what they want . Although tonnies which is the plant in guttersloh is now shut , there's no doubt they avoided responsibliities and are also being helped to do so.

And those oversights have now spread a potential disaster all around a local area .

If abattoirs and meatpackers don't provide services , whole swathes of resources become unviable. The animals and meatproducts themselves are worth fortunes given the industrial scale on which this necessary task is undertaken , mass slaughter, and mass distribution .

So if animals are shown to be testing positive for the known to be zoonotic pandemic novel coronavirus , if the secret was revealed , think of the consequences .

No more workers showing up , no more animals deemed fit for consumption , people avoiding farms like the plague and giving up meat , no more incentive for farmers to herd them together for profits , mass culls potentially , huge losses of revenues , supermarkets losing a major line , sudden demand for non meat alternatives ...
The list is long , all kinds of trouble would need sorted , and there d be questions , how come public health agencies are covering this up in tandem with media outlets and corporate meat men ? There d be court cases , suings for negligence , all kinds of trouble .
And that's why this is a top shelf issue , that's why you get articles and statements like this. And when zoonotic transmission has been raised before , the reversion has been to " no evidence " .
The articles covering abattoir and meatpackers outbreaks do not cover this , clearly avoiding even raising the issue as a possibility.

That's just the way things are . They are critical infrastructure and that does need protecting . Weighing off costs against costs must be hard in this problem , and while we note truth avoidance , it's recognised there's few upsides if any to the way the circumstances sit with this event .

That’s it call NASA!!! Everyone needs space suits, personal oxygen, hazemat clean showers at the entrance to every building. Hell just call in Judge Dredd to contract trace everyone already. Because after the 90th fearmongering thread I really really think this time it’s actually going to kick off!!

Oh ya and the sky is falling...... did I forget anything?

Working towards herd immunity. Nature running its course. I guess COVID-19 was just a little too much of the natural world for people. Just reacting to a crowded world.

Countries need to share data better. It was figured out awhile ago, that if people are sitting in areas with fans, air conditioning, or other means of moving air around, more people get ill.

That’s why to keep so far apart, I think 2 meters isn’t enough in some cases, coughs and sneezes spread droplets far and wide..

There’s plexiglass barriers everywhere around here, all cash registers, reception areas, etc

They’ve told us that if meat gets infected, cooking it well would kill the virus. We’ve have meat plant outbreaks too, but people were getting each other sick, nothing was from the meats being slaughtered or packaged

You may have pre-existing personal issues with the OP, or whatever, but they are right to speculate in the article that this is airborne. (We have known it was airborne since December, if you can look past the propaganda of the WHO at that time ... oh, and don't forget the cover-ups of the CCP last Fall either.)

Also, there is a pretty good analysis of the slaughterhouse / meatpacking industrial setup. There is good information to be had here if you can ignore your own biases. Meatpacking infrastructure is at risk worldwide, in particular.

Where have some of the largest COVID case clusters happened in the US? (hint: meatpacking plants!)

Airborne on a cough is entirely different than floating in the air for all to catch, if the was the case airplanes would be death traps but I suspect he knows that.

Is the coronavirus airborne?
ANSWER

The coronavirus is not ‘airborne’ like tuberculous, measles, or smallpox for example, which can circulate in the air. Transmission of COVID-19 occurs primarily through aerosolized respiratory droplets which can spread the virus and can cause infection in others.

When someone coughs, sneezes, or talks, these droplets can infect another person if they get into their airways. Droplets typically do not travel more than six feet (about two meters) and do not linger in the air. A social distance of 6 feet intends to protect you against infecting another person or becoming infected. Still, the CDC is now recommending the use of face masks in public.

Infected surfaces that have viruses can also lead to infection. And under experimental conditions, the virus can stay alive in air for several hours.

Found an article on Covid 19 in sewage:

There is a high concentration where sewage is 4°C, which is the ideal temperature for it to be stabled and presumably activated. And meatpacking plants are often at 4°C.

Can’t get the link attached (Apple news 🙄) but it’s off of a BBC Science Focus article.
