After a few beverages, I usually play some high energy stuff, but sometimes you just want to hear the heartachy stuff. It's funny how a few drinks can flip the sentimental switch. Woke up with a foggy head and a playlist with these songs still going.
Feel free to share your weepy, maudlin (and possibly alkyhol-fueled) tunes.

Little Movies
by Aaron Lee Tasjan

Things
by Paul Westerberg

The Moon is Shining
by Indigenous
"The moon is shining, all through the night, and dark clouds are raging down memory lane."

The Dead They Dont Come Back
by Kevin Morby
The pedal steel in this song is really lonesome sounding.

I like these two. Sort of sad; sort of haunting.

Nightswimming - REM

Road Trippin - Red Hot Chili Peppers

I wish I knew the imbed procedure, but alas I will take my leave without ever knowing how.

A couple old ballads or songs, your choice. I think they will raise your spirits and put a smile on your lips, and lube your eyes....

Thank you for sharing all of these. I've never heard any of them.
