They would have gotten him later and after he sobered up he might have turned himself in.

Unfortunately that is not an option the officers enjoy. Once they determine
the subject was breaking the law they are required to make an arrest.

While that is true it has nothing to do with what happened in Atlanta!

You know it's crazy, I don't know what to say about the world anymore. But I will say back in my drug days I was depressed sometimes suicidal. I would think of suicide by cop. This was before I got my # together and started buying guns. But one of my plans was to grab a cops gun with no intention of hurting the officer. It's always been basic and common knowledge that if you go for or get ahold of a cops weapon no matter the type. You WILL be shot. I just don't even understand the logic people are using to say that this shooting wasn't justified.

There was no murder only self defense cut and dry and any one can see it.

Because Brooks fired a deadly weapon at the officer. Period!

The officers were way over charged and would still be exonerated of
any charges what ever they were. The DA that charged the officers
already bungled the case if he even had one!

But he doesn't and you should pay attention and learn how easily
deceived you are.

do people think resisting arrest is some honorable duel or something? why does it matter that he was running away or that he was shot from behind? if you raise a weapon and fire it you better be prepared to die.

I don't intend to be callus in any way when I say there's just
no way in hell that could ever happen to me. And it's got
nothing to do with skin color. It's because I'm not that stupid.
