Wow, I see you had some pics ready to go.

Lets work on basic semantics, shall we?

You make a claim that America is in flames or that there is Anarchy in America.

Now, what is "America" ... is it geography? land surface? number of states?

Or, when you say "America" is it an idea? a hope? an ideology?

You post three pics that are uncited. Dramatic.

Your definition of anarchy is a bit broad. It could include football games, rock concerts and kids playing after school.

Looters stole cars? Gosh, I hope they don't have any kind of system that can track automobiles.

You're fronting for a narrative. I can't speak to your motivations, but you did a very professional job of it.

I don’t think many people are looking at the whole picture. As in how we got here. Massive unemployment, no schools open, nothing for these people to do. Been been forcefully quarantined for months, then a video comes out showing a cop using excessive force on a black man. That is all it took. Now you have protests in the streets, if we go back in history, similar instances are OCCURING now that occured in Germany, in the 30’s. Let sink in a little. Where do we go from here. More of the same, this weekend will probably have more violent clashes along with your peaceful ones. The media is doing its best to completely neuter the police. Main headlines are police brutality in response to trying to attain law and order again, meanwhile attacks on the police and the execution of retired police chief in Chicago, is not news worthy or not part of their narrative. It’s 100% obvious the media, and the politicians on the left have an agenda. Don’t get me wrong the police across the country are not all angels, yet I don’t really get the impression that these protests will stop even if they get what they want no police presence. I guess until we can assign cyborgs or robots to patrol our streets to keep the peace we will continue to have people mad at getting arrested etc.

There are a certain subset of people who believe you can't make an omelet without breaking eggs that are salivating over all this.

They think this will finally be the uprising into a socialist/communist state they've been waiting for.

Hmmm ... who are these people Ketsuko?

Is it the folks who last week were complaining about the police state and this week are worshipping it?

You pretend that only left wingers want an uprising, when statistically, it's far more common here on the right.

Remember all that bit about Second Amendment solutions to anything you guys don't like?

Second American Revolution? Don't Tread on Me?

Any of that ring any bells?

Not really anarchy in America, many cities had protests with no riots, many more cities didnt even have protests, saw this morning that Minneapolis city council is looking at disbanding their police department that made me laugh.

Lol Minneapolis, looked like Beirut almost 2 weeks ago. That city has serious problems. Would not hurt to fire all there cops start over. Because of there cop culture we have some problems, we have to deal with now in the country.

Every authoritarian regime has to exaggerate violence and danger.

It justifies bringing the boot of the police state down on the citizens.

Police kill 10 black men.
Media make story about 1 of them, gives him a name.
People protest and riot because of how police treating people and governments lying etc.
Media says you're protesting/rioting because of that 1 man they named, then say you're disgracing his name.

You're manipulated.

Wow, I see you had some pics ready to go.

Nope, I simply took two seconds to google 'riots looting us', went to images, and quickly found three photos from recent reports discussing the topic.

You make a claim that America is in flames

No, I didn't, I stated that "parts of America are (were?) in flames".

...or that there is Anarchy in America.

There is, see my previous replies.

Now, what is "America" ... is it geography? land surface? number of states?

Don't attempt to sidetrack by turning this into a game of semantics, it's disingenuous, you know full well that I'm referring to the US.

You post three pics that are uncited. Dramatic.

The first image was a thumbnail from a YouTube Video titled 'George Floyd Protests: Unrest escalates in demonstrations in more than 30 US cities' (Published 31 May)

The second image comes from an article titled 'US cities braced for more violence and riots over killing of George Loyd' (Published 1 June)

The third image comes from this article, titled 'Americas race problem erupts anew, layered with Coronavirus tensions' (Published 30 May)

Your definition of anarchy is a bit broad.

It's not 'my' definition, it's the Oxford English Language Dictionary's definition.

...It could include football games, rock concerts and kids playing after school.

If you truly believe that the events going on now compare in any way with any of the above activities, you probably can't be helped.

Looters stole cars? Gosh, I hope they don't have any kind of system that can track automobiles.

So, it's common for people to break into car dealerships en-masse before taking the place over for five hours, only to leave with over 70 (seventy) cars with a combined value of over $2m ($2,000,000)? Like, it's not even considered a big deal?

Wow, things are worse than I thought.

You're fronting for a narrative.

No, I'm not, I'm just a guy with an internet connnection and an opinion, much like the rest of us.

...I can't speak to your motivations,

What makes you think that I have any? Because I shared a video showing what I deem shocking scenes?

You know what? I'm beginning to think that you might have one or two motivations yourself, why are you so desperately trying to downplay it all?

...but you did a very professional job of it.

So not being a moron is now considered as being professional?

Lol, OK then.

Having the police launch into a crowd of people full force is a good way to escalate the situation from repairable property damage to mass slaughter. That won't help anybody.

If the ones slaughtered are the animals engaging in the looting and rioting, a lot will be accomplished... less looters and rioters.

I'll let my wife reply to the meat of your question Gryph, but I have to give a golf clap for the attempted diversion from her point and trying to shift the cross-hairs.. Well done.

Looting, and even rioting are not capital crimes.

You're advocating the murder of Americans here.

Dehumanizing citizens is the mark of authoritarian regimes.

Thanks for going on the record.

It's almost as if they ensured they would have an excuse for everyone to be masked up and incognito, before initiating stage 2 of the operation, mass riots and looting.

They are when they involve the indiscriminate assault, battery - and killing - of other Americans. At least in my book they are.

You're advocating the murder of Americans here.

No, I'm advocating the putting down of rabid dogs.

Thanks for going on the record.

You're welcome.

I don't think there was widespread 'Anarchy' last night. The Chicago news was focusing on a lone thug, who stole a car and kept police busy chasing him for 2 hours.

I was smoking a cigar on my porch and drinking Whiskey, I live 15 mins from down town Portland... No anarchy anywhere near me lol.

It is actually very isolated to big cites in small areas of them even if there is a good number of people there. We need to remember that the vast majority protesting are not rioting, but the news agencies really only want to cover the action, not some boring sit in.

Well there is a good number of states that allow you to protect your property up to include death. Someone breaks into my store/house and gets shot is not murder. Someone throws a Molotov cocktail at me and they get shot is not murder, hell even if someone throws a brick at me with the intent to do harm and gets shot is not murder.

Yes, laws vary state to state. You have a point though, an individual killign someone that is threatening you, your family, your property ... usually justified.

Calling for the murder of people who aren't doing that? Not justified.

Do you feel that the protesters and rioters are animals? Should they be summarily executed because you think so?
