Seems like they are asking parliament to have the powers available.

Sweden mulls U-turn on coronavirus restrictions

The Swedish government is seeking more powers to implement a lockdown or stronger restrictions on public life, Swedish media reported on Saturday. The move comes as more and more countries around the world implement lockdowns on public life to attempt to halt the spread of COVID-19.

Doesn't really sound like an iron fist but it is a fist.

ETA: People like to point at them because the number of deaths is low, 899, but if they had the population of the US they would have almost 30K deaths.

Out of curiousity.

Between lock downs, loss of rights, and manipulated data.

Should those numbers be lower?

Exception the infected rate is WAY higher, so this data means nothing. it’s suppose to be a highly contagious virus, and our safety measures assumes we all have the virus.

Logic like yours is why the numbers are flawed, you’re only working with what you have, and that’s not the whole picture making your final data, also flawed.

Stop believing lies. They are claiming everything is Covid-19 per 7 page memo from CDC to doctors and hospitals.

I know 2 women in their 60s who have had it and they both said the Flu is worse. Covid just has a longer annoying dry cough.

Its only killing people who would have died of the Flu because they were one, very elderly and two had other health issues.

We have had 2 deaths this whole time in our entire county. I live 30 minutes from a major international airport.

If it was a tenth of what they claimed it is most in my county would be sick and dying!!!!!

In less then 30 days in Michigan we went from 0-27,000 cases. Many people still can't get a test so how many infected are still out there? Death count is 1700 but the death count hasn't caught up with the rate of infection. 1000+ newly confirmed cases every day. Some days it's a 1000 some days it's 1500. The high was 2000 in one day.

I've already crossed paths with 2 people that died form it. One lady was a drink server at the casino. I saw her all the time. I saw her 2 week prior to dying.

Another was a cashier at the grocery store. I was in her line 2 weeks before she died.

My buddy works at Ford Mo Co. He just bought a $200,000 house a year ago. Thankfully he's still employed. He's making face shields for medical workers.

Every person I know is taking this dead serious. Except my dumb uncle he likes to go wander around Walmart in hot zone.

I know some parts of the country aren't getting hit yet. Hopefully it don't hit you as hard as it is here.

Every day I wake up feeling like I'm living a horror movie.

My dumb uncle keeps bugging me to go fishing. I don't want any contact with him. This ain't a joke around here.

The rest of my family is locked down. They stocked up and they aren't leaving the house. I haven't left the house in 3 weeks. I'm living off fried spam and rice. I'm gonna have to go out for food this week.

Why does it being from Fox News matters? It's just a raw statistic, mate.

It was hilarious seeing CNN and MSNBC suddenly cut away from the Coronavirus press briefing when President Trump showed a video of their fake news coronavirus lies, over the past three months!

Very gratifying seeing the president finally call them out in words...with video proof.

The infection rate is higher than the tested rate. So the mortality rate means little.

The death rate is most likely much higher than recorded, also. The number of seniors and those dyeing with preexisting conditions aren't being tested.

The CDC directive from March 24th tells Coroners to test dead people for Covid-19. If they have it, Covid-19 is to be listed as one of the causes of death.

PROOF: www.abovetopsecret.com...

It's not being done. My brother, age 55, passed away at home in Tacoma on April 6. He had a preexisting condition, so was not tested- even though he had been exposed to Covid 8 days earlier.

The numbers in the title are greatly misleadng since most of those diagnosed ARE STILL SICK. You are ignoring the RECOVERY RATE. When you make a comparison you must look at what percentage has recovered, which leaves the percentage still sick - if there is a large "still sick" proportion, by the time they recover many of them will have died. Think of a 100% mortality disease that kills in 10 days. If aftere 5 days you look at them a only 1 died, is it fair to say that it has a 10% mortality rate? No, because 90% still haven't recovered. Compare the US with Germany:

USA: _ _ _infected: 530,000; died: 20,500 ( 3.9%); recovered: 30,500 ( 5.8%)
Germany: infected: 126,000; died: 2,900 ( 2.3%); recovered: 57,500 (45.6%)

You see, in the US more than 90% are still sick, which means you have to multiply your mortality rate by more than 10. Which will quickly show you that nearly half the people diagnosed have died, but that's a no-brainer, what you are looking for is the ratio between the "died" and the "recovered" groups. Not the ratio of the dead to the infected. In the US they're nearly the same. In places like Germany 20x more people recover than die. In the US recovery and death are almost 50/50.

So why the difference? Another no-brainer. In Germany almost every household has a sauna in the cellar. Heat breaks down coronaviruses. (Bet you haven't been told that by your health authority, wonder why. Guess you will need to do your research again.)

Or because Germany is testing much more widely instead of limiting testing to known vectors and those in need of hospitalizations...

Don’t know if anyone’s referenced this yet, but a Wikipedia article on covid19 drug development says about 200 different companies, research groups, agencies and organizations worldwide are working on drug treatments and vaccines.

en.m.wikipedia.org...

I was amazed to see that 115 different vaccines are under development, some already undergoing human trials. And 116 different drugs for treating the virus are also being developed.I find this reassuring.

Meanwhile, the world must ask very hard questions about the sources of these killer viruses, including annual influenza:
How are they created?
How do they infect humans?
Where are they created?

The world has been devastated by covid19 and we can’t have another such outbreak. Modern civilization seems very fragile and precarious at the moment. What if we have an even worse pandemic? We have a right to demand that proactive measures be taken. Banning Chinese wet markets around the world would be a good start.

I had to go out to get something from my veterinarian today here in Austin. Naturally, it’s more deserted than I’ve ever seen the place. Lots of businesses have their windows boarded up.

I saw two different groups of homeless people who were most definitely not observing social distancing. I gotta be honest — I don’t want our overworked healthcare professionals risking their lives and precious time caring for these worthless idiots. And the cost to treat each one is enormous.

But American culture demands that heroic measures be taken to save even the most irresponsible among us, like gangbangers and repeat drunk drivers. If treated for covid19 and saved, these homeless wretches will hit the streets and repeat the same behavior that got them infected the first time. Because that’s how they live their lives; with total disregard for others. It’s absolutely maddening, and there’s nothing that can or will be done about it.

Make sure you look the tens of millions of new homeless we're creating through lockdowns in the eye and tell them all they weren't worth saving.

I know 3 that have died in last two months of Covid-19. I have only known one person that died from the flu and we think that was medical malpractice. One person.
