I really dream of a Catalina, but it'll probably never happen. Not a lot of water here, so I doubt I'll ever have occasion to "practice" , knock on wood.

Eh, even the British Apaches didn't really get marinized. This is basically just Army units using the shops as a provisional stop.

Arc Light I, after refueling inbound to Vietnam, two B-52s collided. At least some of the crew on one got out and landed in the water. They sent a flying boat to get them. It landed no problem, picked everyone up, and during takeoff hit a wave and crashed.
