Today, the marriage rate is @ 26%. Compare that to 36% for Generation X, 48% for Baby Boomers, and 65% for the Greatest generation. Millennials are
putting marriage off or avoiding it altogether at higher rates than ever. When millenials do decide to get married, most are in their late 30s/early
40s, when women are less fertile. The exception are millenials who marry foreign women, like women from Russia/Ukraine, who are in their late
20s/early 30s & who are more fertile. Around 50% of my male friends are single. Of the 50% who are married, half of them are married to young women
from Russia/Ukraine & the others are married to American women in their late 30s/early 40s.
I find it funny how many American women have to actually be mothers right now, while schools are closed, instead of acting like men, like they usually
do. In the natural world, women are mothers, while men do all the work to support the family. Teachers are also losing control, which is hard for
control freaks like teachers. As long as schools/daycares remain closed, women with children are forced to act like mothers.
Social distancing has consequences related to dating & forming of relationships/marriages. I see less people having babies these days vs past history.
The game has changed for everyone but especially for women who want children & simultaneously want to continue to behave like men. Women who have or
want to have children will need to find men who have the resources/skills to support them, while they're home being good mothers & taking care of
their children.
