An aside but relevant to anyone else facing similar Q problems on their c.v....

A head hunter reached out to me last week for a senior role in a multi-billion company, so I've been tailoring my c.v.

She was anxious to understand why I've taken a break, so I had to come up with some wording that doesn't sound too loony/conspiracist. This is what I came up with:

"I seldom put less than 70 hours a week into my work. To avoid burnout I am deliberately taking career breaks every 7 years, allowing me to reenergise for my next role.

This is the second such break, funded by my earnings from X. Although a change of routine, I’ve worked similar hours ever since, on an international project researching and archiving proofs of global coordinated crime. My findings have been used in trafficking court cases in the U.S. I have also become proficient in decoding of Military signals intelligence."

Honesty may be the best policy but I'm fully expecting a 9:05am phone call saying "take that bit out".

You might want to leave that last part out, honestly. If you go to a new employee talking about QAnon right off the bat, you’re likely to have a bad time. Just a friendly idea...

I've done previous work with the Ministry of Justice so there's a viable reasoning for the content but... yea... i'll prob send an updated version.

ETA - the job sounds like hard work, bad reviews on glassdoor, so I'm more likely to plump for contract role anyhow.

Old news, but you can't say it never happened before...
www.cbc.ca...

A former researcher at the National Microbiology Laboratory in Winnipeg accused of trying to smuggle genetic material from the Ebola virus across the border pleaded guilty to a lesser charge on Friday.
Konan Michel Yao, 42, plead guilty and was sentenced to 17 days in jail.

Yao was caught at the North Dakota border on May 5 on his way to a new job with the National Institutes of Health at the Biodefense Research Laboratory in Bethesda, Md. He had 22 vials in the trunk of his car that were allegedly taken from the lab.

My advice is the same for any corporate job interview. It's simple; repeatedly mention the New World Order. They will either love, hate or fear you.🤫

Rel, check, PJ's advice is rock solid. Your line about re-energizing after an intense work period is not bad, though.
