Looks like a cross between IT and Stranger Things.........its like they channel all the goofy kids movies of the 80s these days....
(Goonies, Goolies, etc etc)

And they Did!!

What's next.....a Gremlins reboot? ET comes back to Earth to find Gertie all grown up??

I must be living under a rock regarding modern boob tube entertainment, because Curly Kid isn't familiar to me. What's he famous for, assuming you're serious and not being tongue-in-cheek?

He's in Stranger Things as well as the new movie adaptation of IT. I'm sure he's in other things, but those are the main ones that he's been in that have been very popular. I'm a little burnt out on him as well, but he is a pretty decent child actor, so I'd rather have someone that can act that I see a little much, than someone who can't act at all.

Like Hypntick said, stranger things, IT, the weezer video for take on me, couple other things that slip my mind, voice acting too. The kid is talented as #, don't get me wrong, but ya know when you just keep seeing the same face pop up in everything? just feels like that now with him sometimes. Keanu Reeves effect, am seeing him instead of his characters.

Afterlife was co-written and directed by Jason Reitman, the son of the original film's director, Ivan Reitman. Aykroyd, who played Dr. Raymon Stantz in the first two Ghostbusters films, served as an executive producer. He is also slated to make an appearance in the new installment along with Murray, who originally starred as Dr. Peter Venkman, and Hudson, who played Winston Zeddmore.

This at least backs up some of what IMDB says. Now the others could in fact be footage from the original, but I imagine they will be in it as well. Until we see a trailer that says otherwise of course we can't be 100% sure. That being said...We're ready to believe you!
