Interestingly enough I don't think that anyone has so far mentioned the possibility of voting for UKIP. I bring this up because the splendidly named Dick Braine (or as he insists on being called, Richard Braine) resigned as their leader today, citing the lack of democracy within the party. How many leaders have they lost now?

We really should have told the EU at the outset that 'no deal' is firmly on the table but if they are prepared to offer something that benefits both parties we would be happy to accept it. I don't think the politicians ever wanted any sort of deal really.
Taking no deal off the table just gave the EU carte blanche to call all the shots and offer unacceptable terms, which suited the establishment perfectly. I do wonder if any actual negotiations went on behind the scenes. All I have ever heard is that they are working hard to secure an acceptable agreement and in reality they secured absolutely nothing.

First let me say all this talk about traitor MPs not giving us Brexit. ALL the voting in parliament has been for or against a deal, NOT whether we should come out or stay in the EU.
Whether your for or against Brexit makes no difference if the deal you are being offered is a very bad deal for the British public, then your and idiot if you vote for a deal like that.
And what's all this BS about Corbyn. The MSN has done a brilliant hatchet job on him. Corbyn is just the head of the party, he aint the party. Even if he becomes Prime Minister he cannot act alone, he has a cabinet to answer to.
But then again don't cut your nose off to spite your face, cut your head off because "oooh, I don't want Corbyn as Prime Minister".
Now let me see. How long ago did we have a GE? Should be every 4 years. So why did we have one. Oh, less than 2 years ago. So according to you Brexiteers "we've had a GE vote so stand by that vote" BS. It's been nearly 4 years since the EU referendum so I want another vote after the GE because things change.

Just to add, my heart sank when the referendum result came in all those distant years ago lol, I've only ever known being in the EU, or the EEC as it was when I first understood anything about politics.
It is why I voted stay, on top of my concerns about the stuff I read from the Remain campaign.
I knew the moment I read the glossy (and skilfully worded) pamphlet from HM Govt that going tits up by leaving was not ruled out. I chose to stay safe.

Then remembered the Welsh devolution referendum in '97, vote won by 50.3%, on a 50.22% turnout and it was passed.
I have no idea if that has been a good or bad thing for them but the majority won, and you don't get much closer than that in a vote over massive constitutional change in Government.

Maybe future important referendums should require X amount votes % with X amount turnout to be passed, but this was not the case for Brexit, so Leave won.
I'm open to running with a new vote if it all goes tits up after 10 years perhaps, but now I run with the people who voted Leave.
It is the only fair and democratic way to go in my mind. Let's see how it goes, the more I read each day about our islands in the Atlantic and the our relationship with the EU, then the more I wonder if we will look back back and say thank # we left when we did. Same as not joining the Euro €

I don't think there is any point in worrying about anything in the manifestos as Brexit is the great big elephant in the room that has squashed everything else.

For leavers, it doesn't matter if Labour has the best renationalisation plan, housing plans or anything else as long as the spectre of soft tories like Starmer and Thornberry cast their poisonous shadow over everything.

It matters nothing to remainer tories whether Bojo has plans for the ultimate deregulation of our economy if they tink they may have to give up the holiday home in the Algarve
As for the Libs, who the hell could reasonably trust anything they say?

SNP are an ok shout if you want Scottish in(terdepen)dence.


UKIP are the "Not his real name" party, The BNP for those who maybe can't quite make the leap to true National Socialism.

Brexit Party....I honestly don't know what will go on with them, I imagine they are more a threat to Labour in strong leave areas, can't see them wooing tory leavers though.

It's good to avoid the personality politics. But not a chance in Hell am I voting for Labour led by Corbyn and his ilk.

Try to look at the prevailing polices and decide from there.
