Justice Department officials have shifted an administrative review of the Russia investigation closely overseen by Attorney General William P. Barr to a criminal inquiry, according to two people familiar with the matter. The move gives the prosecutor running it, John H. Durham, the power to subpoena for witness testimony and documents, to impanel a grand jury and to file criminal charges.

Looks like progress is being made on the whole setup by radical establishment figures. Moving to a criminal inquiry means something significant has been found.

The sham impeachment inquiry by the Dems doesn't compare to the scope of what Barr and Durham are doing and the Dems are extremely nervous.

Even though the House may push Articles of impeachment it, it'll fail at the Senate level, thus ending that debacle and paving the way for more transparency in the Durham NOW Criminal Inquiry.

Some additional info on Barr and Durham...

Mr. Barr’s reliance on Mr. Durham, a widely respected and veteran prosecutor who has investigated C.I.A. torture and broken up Mafia rings, could help insulate the attorney general from accusations that he is doing the president’s bidding and putting politics above justice.

More is developing...

I think, if all the information comes out, this is going to be the biggest abuse of power by our government in recent memory. A prior administration weaponizing the intelligence agencies, spying on a candidate/President-Elect/President, fraudulently obtaining FISA warrants, and working with many levels of a corrupt and complicit media to overturn the results of an election that they were embarrassed and furious that they lost.

My hope are that they have indeed come across some iron clad evidence, hence opening a criminal investigation........but part of me still thinks this is too big, that the government will eventually protect itself and pretty much bury this. hope I am wrong on that tho.

So many to choose from really. But Brennan, Comey, and McCabe would be top of the list to me.

Brennan and Clapper are seasoned, professional liars.
The way they sold their own asses for Hillary is disgusting.
If it is just those 2 that get locked up, I would be thrilled.
But there should be quite a few heads rolling.

Well, this certainly will scramble a few issues. I believe this possible investigation will be far more high powered than the Mueller report. the very indication that it is a criminal investigation proves that Durham has found solid evidence.

Barr did obtain two blackberry phones used by Joseph Mifsud,
they might have contained very damning texts.

Just imagine....

Could have been direct communications with Comey,
or Brennan or Strzok.

Juicy stuff .....

I also wonder if perhaps the FISA is on the other foot.

Just imagine if there have been a few wire taps.

You know, that three step do si do.
And if those wire taps have been in place
for a while?

Tick tock!

There are two threads on this subject. Can the moderators please MERGE the two? I'm having to do a copy of what I type in one, and paste it in the other.

I think you've visited the "Q" threads on ATS. FISA spying "works both ways". In other words, those who do the spying are making themselves open to being spied on.
