I put fish sauce and rice wine vinegar on my rice when I eat it.

Are you Asian?

Ummm...I love fish sauce...the girl friend keeps trying to throw it out and I just threaten her with a dumpster for all her crap she's cluttered the house with...

Meh...might be worth it...I can always buy another bottle...

Thanks sooo much for your recipe.

I will use it. My middle son and I went fishing in Buzzard's Bay this summer, and we caught 44 fish. That meant I had to 'clean' 44 fish hahaha; so, the joke is on me, but it is great chowder white fleshed fish (now vacuum packed in the freezer), consisting of mostly 'scup' with a few black sea bass in the mix.

I will use your recipe scaled up to the amount I can cook
It will make a lot of chowder … probably in a huge kettle pot on the stove, to feed a couple dozen or more next Spring

Oh man, Black Sea Bass! That's some tasty fish right there! I don't think I know what a "scup" is though.

Glad you liked the recipe, you'll really enjoy the fish!

It will work with about any light fleshed fish.

And that's the thing too, when you say "chowder" most people thing of only clams, but there's so many other seafoods you can make 'chowdah' from.

I liked my batch from the other day so much I'm whipping up another batch today, but this one will have cod (like the other one) and the addition of some lump crab and clams!

Wife went on a 'girls only' (MIL, 2 sisters and SIL) cruise to Bermuda, so I can make whatever I want! That'll teach her!
