New York City's Commission on Human Rights announced on Thursday that residents could face up to $250,000 in fines if they use terms such as "illegal alien ... with intent to demean, humiliate or harass a person."

Making certain words illegal is the antithesis of the first amendment.

Hate crimes are thought crimes. The person hearing the words decides the intent of the words. Then declares a hate crime.

Used to be liberals fought for free speech, no matter how vile, no matter whose feelings were hurt, free speech is free speech. That is how we got ubiquitous porn everywhere.

Now hurting someones feelings is a crime according to the progressive liberals. Up until now it was considered a social "crime" with alienation and humiliation as the punishment. Now there is punishment, governmental punishment, for saying the wrong words to the wrong person.

The PC police are now real and live in NYC.

The progressive liberal Democrats don't have to actually get rid of the first amendment, they just have to demand local governments around the USA fine, jail, enforce real punishment, by the government, for people who hurt the feelings of others.

Before people get their undergarments in a wad. I am not for being rude, or hurting people's feelings.

But I also am firmly against the creeping totalitarian/authoritarian PC police who will turn our nation into China. Full on with the nightmare social credit system of rating people based on their interactions with others, and denying them freedom of movement, denying them jobs, if they hurt someones feelings.

New York Commission on Human Rights. There ya go. Agenda 21 in action. Any judge who enforces this should be disbarred immediately and forbidden to take ANY job working for state or federal government, AND fined and imprisoned for violating the Constitution.

Time to get out and kick out the United Nations along with any US official undermining our Constitution and rule of law for enforcing ANYTHING put forth by the UN that violates our Constitution and sovereignty.

The term illegal alien has nothing to do with race, it is only a term of status, as in a person of a different nationality in a foreign country without the permission of that country.

Technically, Illegal alien word came from the Spanish to takeover the world. Is Americans Spanish? No. That word needs to be replaced now especially since everyone has now been indoctrinated to talked about the real aliens, space aliens. Next thing you know people start calling Chinese people illegal aliens. How wrong does that sound to you?

Illegal Immigrants is the new word, the whole world is using that now. Only third world Americans are still using the word illegal alien. The only time we should start calling people illegal aliens is if they are from another planet.

They keep pushing harder left and it's going to be their undoing. I for one support their unreasonable new laws, looking forward to it backfiring spectacularly in 2020.
