A loving father....just now hitting me. My dad was loving but my granddad ....was never there. Those grand parents thought my mom was a young flirt.....grandma swore up till they got married ..."he's not marryin that girl. "

When grandma and granddad visited, he never talked to me.......I turned that family curse around big time, a r3cord setting uncle then father......I gave the youngins input from day one and kept em active....tossing them to the bed from two meters away and letting them drive the car at age 4.....stuff like that, climb on me like a tree, do acrobatics and rodeo on my back with pillows surrounding he he.

In the war, I asked him to cosign a loan on a Dodge split window van..... no....

Didn't speak to may family for 25 years.. after he went, so on their part.

Oh yeah, that reminds me, I better get to bed soon... Since I'm apparently obligated to head down to the old mans house for Fathers day in a few hours.

Though, I'm thinking I'll probably get completely blind drunk before hand and then just catch the train down... That always makes it much easier to deal with.
