I recently bought new FPV goggles which allow me to record flight footage from the analog signal coming from the drone. (The view I see when flying)
For those that might want to see what I see. Here is a quick video. This is the RAW video. Sound and all. So you can hear my drone scream.
Please keep in mind. The DVR recording looks far worse then the view in the goggles. Both clarity and color are far superior within the goggle view.
In-fact I did not even notice the faint horizontal lines while flying. Only in DVR review. Even so. I get very minimal break up. This is using the
supplied FatShark circular polarized antenna's.
IF you have any questions, please feel free to ask!
Oh man i would love to build one of these, especially would want to fabricate some wicked ultralight outer body for it, make it look like it came from
outer space, with some weird oily/black honeycomb paintjob.
I actually have a small 2.5" build in the works. (that's the prop diameter) No bigger than a bird you may see outside. It will only weigh around 75
grams. I should be able to extend its range upwards of a mile. Its so small and nimble. I can only imagine what someone would think if they saw it and
had no idea what it was!! lol

But yes. I have crashed. Its unfortunately part of the learning process. Thankfully, they are carbon fiber. So they are pretty tough. But every crash
usually results in the replacement of some internals, motors, and at minimum. A prop or two.
