Hey all,

I recently bought new FPV goggles which allow me to record flight footage from the analog signal coming from the drone. (The view I see when flying) For those that might want to see what I see. Here is a quick video. This is the RAW video. Sound and all. So you can hear my drone scream.

Please keep in mind. The DVR recording looks far worse then the view in the goggles. Both clarity and color are far superior within the goggle view. In-fact I did not even notice the faint horizontal lines while flying. Only in DVR review. Even so. I get very minimal break up. This is using the supplied FatShark circular polarized antenna's.

IF you have any questions, please feel free to ask!

All the spinning around made me kind of dizzy. Can't you just chase a bird or something?

That was cool! Makes me wish that had rideable drones, that would be a blast.

Pretty area you live in, reminds me of southern wisconsin/northern Illinois.

Cool stuff.

Oh man i would love to build one of these, especially would want to fabricate some wicked ultralight outer body for it, make it look like it came from outer space, with some weird oily/black honeycomb paintjob.

And the vid was awesome.

I actually have a small 2.5" build in the works. (that's the prop diameter) No bigger than a bird you may see outside. It will only weigh around 75 grams. I should be able to extend its range upwards of a mile. Its so small and nimble. I can only imagine what someone would think if they saw it and had no idea what it was!! lol

Im nominating you as the head drone guy for the area 51 raid.

When doing those low passes through the trees, have you ever crashed it?

LMAO!

yeah.... Ill be avoiding that massacre.

But yes. I have crashed. Its unfortunately part of the learning process. Thankfully, they are carbon fiber. So they are pretty tough. But every crash usually results in the replacement of some internals, motors, and at minimum. A prop or two.

Hey there Triton,

Awesome vid as usual, thanks for sharing it.

I was wondering how many aerial maneuvers you have tried, I see lots of immelmann's in your videos.

Here is a link to a wiki with some charts of dog fight maneuvers, I was wondering if you would be willing to try some with your drone.

en.m.wikipedia.org...

I'd love to see If you can manage a "rolling scissors".

Anyway, great vid man , keep them coming.

Respectfully,
~meathead
