Here are some of the photos I took at Skyfest 2019, the annual airshow that is held at Fairchild AFB near Spokane, WA. They had good weather and had a good turnout this year with a C-5, C-17, KC-135, KC-10, F-22's, F-15's, F-35's, B-52 P-51's, F4F Wildcat and Ospreys on static display and F-22 demo, P-51/Raptor heritage flight, C-17 demo, KC-135 and C-17 mock hook-up, B-52 flyby and several paratrooper displays.

TF-33's make a good sunshade for the fam.

Great pics. Looks like it was a better show than last year. Or was that two years ago.

Gaud, the Osprey is Huge!

That pic really shows how big it really is.
Great shots!

Thanks, it was a really good show. The weather was in the 70's and the F-22 display was epic.
We've seen lots of jet displays and takeoffs at close range but the high G, full throttle turns a few hundred feet away from the Raptor puts them all to shame.

We used to love watching the test flights out of Marietta. They'd do all kinds of crazy things over us.

Our next hunt won't be until late next year, but we have some serious plans in play. Should be our best yet.

Flag for you and some great pics. I always enjoy airshows but with my wife disabled I don't go much anymore. It's nice to see threads like this and my thanks. My best,

Great pics I've got to get me to a US show at some point in my life

Zaph you say it was a better show that the last one just curious, over the years have airshows in the states changed much with any restrictions or numbers of participating aircraft dropping. Since Shoreham and probably due to lack of interest from governments and councils UK airshows have started dropping in quality a bit.

It's pretty much based on operations. If the aircraft are available they'll come to a show. If they have commitments then not. I've seen quite a few that were on the schedule not show up due to ops tempo changes.
