You know very well that if the shoes were on the other foot, you'd be screaming about censorship bloody murder.

I wouldn't care at all. I'm not right wing, so I don't expect what I believe to be shoved in peoples faces 24/7 365. If they want to ban all the left wing stuff too, go for it. YouTube isn't the only avenue to watch those kinds of videos.

What you guys want is for everyone to accept your political evangelism. And I don't want to put up with that anymore than the religious kind.

Reading more of this from youtube.

Apparently, if you humiliate or embarrass someone or hurt their feelings, you can and will be banned.

Kind of like what MSNBC does all day long?

What about Christians who believe they will go to Heaven, because of a personal relationship with God through Christ?

I really do think that is next.
This is just how things start

You think we do? Have you ever used YouTube? You start looking for what you want to find. If right wing stuff is "getting shoved in your face 24/7/365" there, it must be because you're looking for it and the algorithm starts suggesting more of it because you looked for it.

At least that's how it works for me. If I search out one left-wing commentator, my suggestion feed is stocked with more of them. Sometimes, if I see a commentary on a left wing commentator, I get a bunch of them. Really people on the left should be grateful to folks on the right who comment on what they say because they get more views that way through the suggestion feed.

These days, I'm stuck with a bunch of equestrian videos because I watched one thing on a horse birth, a bunch of food videos, a bunch of video game videos, some right wing stuff, some movie stuff, a lot of aquarium stuff ...

And it's very easy for you to say that when you know darn good and well that it's your side of the political spectrum that's all into banning people who say things you don't want to hear, not because it's actual hate speech, but simply because it presents points of view you hate hearing.

It's very easy for you claim that people are being censored for expressing "points of view" but exactly what points of view are people being banned for expressing?

Do you consider calling people f-gs to be a form of hate speech? Literally that's why Crowder got demonetized today — YT told him they'd restore his monetization once he removed the links to the "Socialism is for F*gs" t-shirts. Not because the shirts said "Socialism is for Dummies" or "Socialism Sucks" or "Socialism Kills" or "I think Socialism is Bad" but for "Socialism is for F*gs."

From TeamYouTube on Twitter:

Replying to @gaywonk @YouTube

To clarify, in order to reinstate monetization on this channel, he will need to remove the link to his T-shirts.

Who would have anything to say if he was demonitized while linking to t-shirts emblazened with "Kids Are Sexy" or "Save the Planet, Kill Whitey" or some other offensive thing? But because it's an anti-homosexual epithet, right-wingers don't seem to see what the problem is.

"Aww you got banned, harden the # up".

Yet the reason "they" got banned is because a few candy-assed soy-bois couldn't harden the # up and take criticism.

When your ideology is so effing fragile that it cannot withstand any form of criticism, then you're the god-damned candy-assed sissies!

When your ideology and the way you promote it is so toxic that it's driving people away in big enough numbers to make them consider banning you, it's probably not everyone else that's the problem.

Plus that wasn't the question, it was about redheads.

And I asked you what would you do if it wasn't about them.

Why not discuss the reasons, bring forward you r anti-stance in eloquent form instead of banning?

Why would I be interested in debating with a retard who wants to hang a discriminatory sign on my premises?

Except he wasn't driven away.

Again, no one forces him to seek that content out, and this whole thing started through a Twitter feud, not because Maza looked at a Steven Crowder video on YouTube.

And if the worry is that people are being driven away, how many people are being driven away because their favorite content creators are being driven out?

No. This is purely a leftist orthodoxy thing.

And how do you account for the demonetized account where their only sin was because they had up a video criticizing someone who had made a Sandy Hook conspiracy video. They called him a mean name, but other than that the only possible problem was that they criticized Sandy Hook conspiracies?

And do any of you think for one second that anyone yelling at Trump is going to be banned? Maybe Colbert? How about Kimmel? They've said and done some pretty offensive stuff.

It's a t-shirt, but because it says something you do not like, you don't see what the problem with censorship is.

Should they allow him to sell a t-shirt that says "I'm a pedophile and I'm about to solicit your child for sex"? Or would that really be les miserable to do as they say in French?

No!

Because that would just promote more leftist ideology.

Obviously not enough to keep these people from being banned. Do you really believe that this is about something other than money for a company as big as Youtube? They may act like they are playing some ideological game every now and then but at the end if the day, it's about money.

If they weren't risking revenue by letting people like Crowder spew their crap I seriously doubt there would be any issue with it.

That free market thing you guys used to talk about seems to be the deciding factor here. You're always free to set up your own streaming service that caters to right wing views if you want. And imagine, everything you want to hear would be right there with nothing being censored. If it's really the freedom to watch these videos and censorship you're worried about.

Unless, it's really about right wing political evangelism..

I realize you've been told to believe that companies are evil entities that care about nothing but money, but companies are just an abstract thing. They're made up of people, and people care about a lot of things, not just money. Not everything they do is based on what will make them the most money, especially a company that big that also happens to have a near-monopoly that is gonna pull in huge profits no matter what they do politically. Look at CNN. Their ratings have been tanking but they keep pushing the same tired left-wing nonsense. If all they cared about was money, they'd balance their coverage a bit. Obviously their political agenda is more important than revenue over there.

Youtube and google are becoming left wing extremist trash. I'm starting to use other services and I hope many others do as well. We don't need one brand of politics being shoved down our throats. I'd feel the same if it was right wing crap.

From what I've gathered over the last couple years, "conservative views" is just code for racist # and t-shirts that say "Socialism is for F*gs."

It's not about actual political opinions ever. You don't see right-wing political pundits getting demonetized or deplatformed for bitching about the national debt, repealing the ACA, etc. They're not violating ToS when they talk about how Trump was right to pull out of the deal with Iran or how Joe Biden is a fraud for authoring a crime bill that facilitated mass incarceration.

It's never really the politics, it's all the culture war BS.

But its not evenly applied.

Was Stephen Colbert banned for saying trumps mouth was Putting c***holster? Was Samantha Bee banned for saying Ivanka was a feckless c***?

Was this Maza guy who is complaining about crowder banned for encouraging people to assault conservatives just a few days ago?

Nope not at all.

You may be able to say each person demonetized or banned did something distasteful, but the selective application of this proves youtube (and other social media platforms) are operating with an ideological bias.

I look forward to the lawsuits that will be forthcom8ing as this is a tacit admission that these platforms are actually publishers, and their efforts are in fact an in kind donation to the ideological parties they align with.

A few dozen facebook trolls from Russia were said to steal an election. But these companies going all in for the democrats, we are supposed to think this is no big deal at all.

This is what Google/Facebook/YouTube T&C's should say. . . . .

We are leftist douche-bags that are afraid of opinions that differ from ours so we want to control the narrative and control what you see, read, think and if we can. . . eat.
