That's what they say but they really don't want him to testify otherwise they would already subpoena him. They know the Mueller report is BS so they will allow him to duck congress, or risk the Republicans expose him thru cross examination.

Mueller will not testify, I can almost guarantee it. Dems are just demogoging and giving him cover.

With President Trump out of the country "being Presidential" in the United Kingdom this upcoming week, 90% of U.S. media will need a reason to avoid showing those images, as much as possible.

And they'll get it, because the showboating do-nuthin Democrats will be trickling back into Washington tomorrow, after another 10 day vacation.

What's going to shock a lot of Democrats, is that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has mentally "short-circuited" from STRESS.

They felt the need to act because the president HATES even the the thought of someone and might get upset just to see his name.

Mueller has already stated that his testimony, should he be compelled to submit, will be verbatim to his departments report.
Still since most people have not read the report hearing it and seeing it will be an eye opener for many.

The U.S. House had a special session to read the report to the public. It was carried world-wide by CSPAN.

I know how I personally feel about C Span.
Its one of those channels that people click right past. Like that other one where they talk about history and books. YAWN...😴
The fact that they read it was carried on the news and I am betting that anyone who heard about it heard about it on their nightly news and not because they tuned in to C Span to be bored for the afternoon.

Mueller has become iconic to the whole Russia collusion obstruction of justice episode with the American people and his testimony will be of interest to many more than the few who watched congress read the report on C Span.
And his testimony would be on more channels than just C Span.

I saw a clip of a woman on the news the other day who said she did not know the report said anything negative about the president until she saw Mueller's statement. She had previously gotten all her information about what the report said from, in her own words, "conservative news".
Having Mueller testify even if he only reads from his own work will be very powerful in getting the nature of his report out there that simply publishing it did not.

I completely understand why he wouldn't want to testify, because both sides of the fence would have some very pointed questions, but I feel as though if you've been at the helm of an investigation which spent $35-odd million dollars of taxpayer money then you have an obligation to attend and answer any questions asked, no matter how trifling.

This is not some simple civil matter. The fact that he would even have to be subpoenaed is a disgrace. It's putting himself above the significance of the investigation and its implications for the country.

So far today I have watched trump arrive at Buckingham Palace. I watched trump and Melania meet the Queen. I watched them pose outside with the whole royal family.
I saw trump and Melania tour some room full of American artifacts that the Queen had on display. Then I saw trump and Melania tour Westminster Abbey. Then a graveyard to honor the dead.
It sure seems to me like they are covering him.

Stress it is. I served on several staffs in my days as an executive in manufacturing. I have been around many one percent sleazeballs whom were the Presidents and millionaires on publicly traded companies as the Board of Directors. Many are simply weird. One trait is common. They are always staid and aloof when things are fine but when the sheet hits the whatever they begin to act odd, misspeak and suddenly begin to talk like an incompetent "commoner". That's Nancy to a TEE lately. She could be playing it up so as to resign from Congress but I believe that she knows what the truth and facts are. That's why shes not for impeachment as they could go to jail for bringing up false charges. If the trail which I believe leads to Obama and she was part of it her role in history is one of a freaking piece of sheet. Assuming that Barr moves forward; happy days are here again.

I mean he kept company with a CIA Director [Brennon] who voted for a Communist President www.cnn.com... and a FBI Director [Comey] who fantasized about Communism in College at William and Mary. Plus socialism is being taught throughout all of the biggie university's. Started here back in the 1920's. The Universities follow Karl Marx and others from Russia. Your personal feelings about any of this wont matter to anyone but you.
There are just going to be more hearings by the house and judiciary committee.
They vote on whether to hold Barr in contempt today I think.
I think they will subpoena Mueller if he refuses to come when asked.
I am not sure he will refuse but he did say that his answers will not go beyond what was already published in the report.
He will not reveal the redacted portions.
Hopefully they will get the back up evidence that he collected even if they cannot reveal what they get.

Since the report was read on cspan (which is a live feed of congress and if anyone clicks past it because it is just that not sensationalistic propaganda put out by the msm means they are clearly only seeking to serve their own biases and not wanting to take the time to formulate an idea by themselves) it is out there. By stating one has read the report does not mean one understands it as clearly demonstrated by postings. A big distraction so congress does not actually have to govern, did you know that 2 people died in "captivity" now if congress actually did some legislating instead of acting like the spoiled brats as of late perhaps they could have formulated a plan so no one had to die. Of course the msm states its Trumps fault but Trump is not the legislative body in charge of c=writing laws. He only acts when that body does not just like Obama did (a lot.) Talking about whether or not the Mueller should testify about this giant distraction only allows for congress to continue not to govern. Instead of doing their job they are wasting our $$$$$ by not doing the job they were elected to do instead chasing giant nothing burger when compared to what Hillary did (another distraction tho.) Meanwhile the poor stay poor (most get even poorer now) while the rich get much richer while paying their employees slave wages. Instead of being divided about Trump/Hillary we all should realize that to them our opinions mean nothing and we are nothing more than peons for the elite. Voting electronically is a scam,only having one exit polling company that admits it will modify its results to match what the machines say is a mechanism to cover that same scam. At least they agree Mueller/Bueller should testify tho as that will make a difference to us all right??? Mueller the same stooge who did what exactly to make us safer??? He wasted a bunch of our taxpaying $$$$'s in this investigation. Prior to that he refused to recognize terrorist threats to us, he covered for a huge gangster out of Boston, he crippled the FBI, served longer than he was allowed too (but that was ok because con gress voted to let him do it,) what an upstanding citizen right.

I have the report downloaded to my PC. I have read it.
You assume a lot you know. My observation about the channel is well grounded in experience.
I actually have listened to C Span on occasion and the other C Span with the history and book discussions because I am that nerdy girl. ( thats how I know what is on those channels lol) And I know viewership on those channels is pretty low.

Regardless of anyones comprehension levels in regards to legalese language hearing Mueller answer questions will still convey his findings better than reading it.
His answers will be specific to the questions asked and not every detail contained in the report.
