I'm an asshole

A mod once told me "mods are people too."

I be all like "So what? What does that even mean?"

But it took me a while to realize members are people as well. And I let that soak in a bit. Then I saw that as a person, and as a member of ATS, I can be a right asshole sometimes.

I am usually very quick to forgive when someone has sour words with me. However, I am not very quick to forgive myself when I am sour towards others.

I can't quite explain the why and wherefore. But another mod recently told me Hey, it's noticeable. So perhaps it's been noticeable to the other members as well.

I am sorry I've been a bit too saucy as of late. ATS is something we share as a community--it's wrong if one person dumps all over it.

I would like to extend apologies and thanks specifically to DTOM, DrumsRfun, and FCD.

I've been an asshole and still the ATS fam got my back. WOW.

I think your conflating being an asshole with cynicism.

See, you're self aware about something, and showing remorse. But maybe you have a touch of cynism, which I'm sure many on this board could be sympathetic of.

Assholes are oblivious to their nature, or are malice and calculate their misdeeds.

I think sometimes the only way we can red pill someone is by showing them their is no shame in acceptance.

Sometimes everyone liking something doesn't make it mainstream or bad.... It's just that damn good.
