Japanese F 35 reported missing?

The Japanese government is apparently planning to scale back the search for the rest of the aircraft. So far they have found a portion of the wing and engine. Based on communications intercepts and radar data, they believe the pilot suffered spatial disorientation.

Without being too morbid even if he made it out, we don't know what happened after. Could of been injured when ejected and not survived the landing in water or drowned due to injuries once in the water and eventually the ocean took him. RIP to the pilot I feel sad even just writing this comment

The search for the wreckage has been officially called off. Underwater cameras will be used to monitor the area, along with other methods, to ensure no one tries to search for the aircraft. Body parts found on the surface were confirmed to be the pilot earlier this week.

Yeah, those are not good. We had a Colonel hit the Yellow Sea in his F15 during Team Spirit. Only about 40 pounds of him recovered. Shook the base pretty bad.

I always have to cringe a little after a crash of any type when they talk about recovering bodies. People don't realize how the human body reacts to an impact like that.
