Whether you like him or not, Charlie Whiting has died.

www.bbc.com...

Some of his calls were not in the best interest of the sport and the fans. imo

RIP Charlie.

Condolences to his family.....another victim of the tyranny of distance to Australia.

I wonder what the statistics are for people who develop blood clots flying here.....Im sure it would shock people.

I knew a chap who flew back to the USA to visit his parents.....He died on the day he landed, from DVT- blood clot.
He was in his 40s.

About time we developed faster ships or slower low flying dirigibles to traverse the long distances....sure it will take longer, but it would be in luxury, and you might live.

Go Renault, kick it to Red Bull.

Interesting, I wonder if taking a blood thinner before travel would help this problem?
