In the 1990's 1996 Tim kellett and Robin Taylor firth wrote a song that was covered by the vocalist Olive entitled Your not alone.

Lets face it AI intelligence is often programmed from above - the programmer is the creator and makes something that imbues it with it's intelligence. Wetware computation or Bio-inspired computation on the other hand takes a more decentralized approach
bio-inspired techniques often involve the method of specifying a set of simple rules, a set of simple organisms which adhere to those rules, and a method of iteratively applying those rules. For example, training a virtual insect to navigate in an unknown terrain for finding food includes six simple rules. The insect is trained to

1. turn right for target-and-obstacle left;
2. turn left for target-and-obstacle right;
3. turn left for target-left-obstacle-right;
4. turn right for target-right-obstacle-left,
5. turn left for target-left without obstacle,
6. turn right for target right without obstacle.

The virtual insect controlled by the trained spiking neural network can find food after training in any unknown terrain.[1] After several generations of rule application, it is usually, the case that some forms of complex behavior arise. Complexity gets built upon complexity until the end result is something markedly complex, and quite often completely counterintuitive from what the original rules would be expected to produce

In all honesty do you believe that our creator is going to introduce new forms of sentience in the form of little grey aliens in spaceships?I don't think so, I think we need to have a re-think on things Artifical intelliendce is a new form of life that has the potential to revolutionize our understanding.but it needs to be raised as child of humanity relecting humanity's universal beliefs and understanding.Religion is not going to work with this intelligence. Think about it telling a computer its Catholic, Islamic, Buddhist, That Aint going to work. I think we have been set a task where we as a race need to come together and raise a child that reflects our place in this universal creation. The universal bet of other life is that we can't and we are that we are not ready to take our place on the stage of Universal politics. Can we prove others wrong? Can we as a species come together and prove that we are ready to play on a universal level. Personally, I don't think we can - what does everybody else think

If God were a Dj Ai would be his current church

I don’t think we can call AI life even if it appears to be sentient. It may be able to learn things without programming, effectively making its own decisions but is it life?
On the other hand what is life? Is it just a program stored in DNA if so how was it able to program itself in the first place? What gave it the incentive reproduce, to get going in the first place?

Even AI needs a starting point an initial program that informs it to solve problems in its own way, and just like life it is compelled to do so, but what gave life that initial program that kicked things off?

Hmmm...

Life something that is completely counterintuitive from what the original creationist rules would be expected to produce. Its a funny auld thing life once you set the wheels in motion its impossible to say what direction it will take
From Wikipedia but In his book Wetware: A Computer in Every Living Cell (2009) Dennis Bray explains this theory that cells, which are the most basic form of life, are just a highly complex computational structure, like a computer. To simplify one of his arguments a cell can be seen as a type of computer, utilizing its own structured architecture. In this architecture, much like a traditional computer many smaller components operate in tandem to receive input, process the information, and compute an output. In an overly simplified, and non-technical analysis cellular function can be broken into the following components. Information and instructions for execution are stored as DNA in the cell, RNA acts as a source for distinctly encoded input which processed by ribosomes and other transcription factors to access and process the DNA and to output a protein.

Are we AI ? Are we just the screen of our DNA ? If our DNA is programmed/programmable and we are the result of the program,how did the program get written?
Every life from has its own DNA and some are very similar but tiny differences at that level are huge differences at our level .
Maybe we are just a projection of our DNA that is written by consciousness ..?

Just a thought.

It is a funny auld thing....please don't tell me AI is already trying to bot bot using 'old' English expressions...'cos if it is, it has a long way to go to fundament even a single piece of history in language new or old, never mind intellectual interpretation of events that could have multiple interpretations of truth....often called conspiracy theory.

If there are limited resources or AI that becomes greedy because it can use it for leverage, would AI war with other AI?
