No. That requires gamma rays.
But it makes you green. And ugly.

Invisible girl is not green, nor any other color, and she is definitely not ugly. I think. I have never seen her now that I think about it.

But it is based on Science Fiction?

Is it possible that these cosmic rays can have something to do with the thread?
Yes.
The theory of the thread is that we are going to die because cosmic rays from the Sun during solar minimum will kill us all.

Or something.

Oh. I guess I am not prepared to be killed by cosmic rays. Are the northern lights going to pluck us all up and drop us from a thousand feet or something?

If the magnetosphere goes away there won't be any northern lights. Depending on what happens there could be a dim overall glow on the day side of Earth (which we couldn't see), or Mexican lights, or African lights. Or Pacific lights (or is that Pacific Heights?)

Does the solar wind (i guess this in theory) actually resist the magnetic pole swap in any meaningful way? I guess the magnetic field would have to be really weak for that?

If the magnetosphere goes away we better hope it comes back real quick.

Hello PHAGE... //a la Sienfeld meets Newman//...

AGAIN!...
Only YOU would be so bold as to fiddle fadfle and nay say proper scientific data is not in accordance to your handler's will and wishes...
Nay! Those stats look nasty now! Take em' away!

And vast swathes of nardeweathers flock in unison to your provocative charm.

The hour is NEIGH my nemesis....
...stake your claims...

So be it.

yarg, until the atmosphere is ripped away by the solar radiation due to no magnetosphere. i submit mars as an example

And dead. Or , a at least a bad case of diarrhea
Maybe the reason for the green coloration ?

I guess I better figure out where magnetic north and true north are in my location again.

I used to be good at setting my compass for true north. Probably won't be any different for my primitive compass, the degree lines are very small and not that accurate compared to a digital one.

if we can spend some money on the issue ...we can stop it !
guess 100 doller/person worldwide will do !

You might be right did you see where north was in the video? I thought why does he have the earth upside down?

Seriously I have never seen this YT channel before and this video give me no credibility in it. What I have found is that the guys data might be correct but he has the earth upside down to make it look like the pole is migrating south, south east, but its not, its going back North. I did an approximant line in google earth in the same area that's in the video. So I would take whatever is on that channel with some skepticism.

Then I flipped it back to North.

I can almost see him laughing at his audience as he posts the video.

I think the point the person was making is ... as the magnetic field decreases the amount of solar radiation hitting the earth increases which is true. Oddly, I don't believe any of the climate models take into account the magnetic field when creating computer simulations. The migration of the magnetic pole, in theory, would also change the amount of solar radiation that would historically reach a specific point on the ground. As people are experiencing differences in regional weather, might this be accounted for by the shift in the magnetic field?
