There is a post here on the new lion king movie.
I dont want to see it "again"
I also see there is a new grinch movie....again..
Dont want to see it..

I'm tired of Hollywood remaking the same movie with the same plot....ugh..
There are a few reboots that are actually good but damn few.
The thing comes to mind 1951 was great and the 1981 remake was excellent because they made changes. Same with Battlestar Galactica. The reboot was great because it was just a copy.

There are so many things I would like to see made.
I would love a war of the worlds movie set in the original time of the book around 1900.

How about a mini series based on the tom Clancy book, red storm rising...

I would also like the last air bender to be made correctly and not by m night shamadingdong....

What do you want to see?
There has to be some good ones out there..

Ha,,,

Mortal engines looks beautiful but I have a feeling it's going to be filled with movie cliches...

At least it's a new idea.

Based on the series of books. Not some Hollywood drawing board concept. Peter Jackson did perfect job handling the Hobbit'is, no?

On the lord of the rings trilogy he did an excellent job, not so much on the hobbit movies.

But I will say that the hobbit is a bitch to put on screen and he did about as good as anyone could have.

I'm cool with sequels as long as they continue a story.

I'd like to see They Live! remade in a more serious and dark tone. A prequel would be neat.... showing how the aliens took over.

Then you may be in luck!

www.ign.com...

The original creators are involved and they say Netflix is supportive of their vision, so hopefully it pans out.

There was also talks of a Black Company series in development, but I haven't seen any updates on that front in a while.

Yeah, I made a post of that a few months ago.
It's a continuation from the cartoon.
I would like a trilogy of the original series.

Damn... Wasn't aware of that. I would have liked to see the original story too, but I'm game for some new adventures.

I agree with you. Originality is lost.

I'm not sure if you've seen The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, but this movie is a diamond in the rough. its on Netflix.

As for upcoming, original movies, I want to see these:

And Tarantino's next movie:

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

There is only one story. Every movie, every religion, everything worth talking about is this one story:

There specific touch-points that make a movie great. All great movies have the same touch-points.
