A Christmas Story, hands freakin' down. Love it, absolutely LOVE it, lol. That is one of the most relatable movies out there for a kid. I have adored it since my own childhood and my kids are finally warming up to it, too

"In the heat of battle my father wove a tapestry of obscenity that, as far as we know, is still hanging in space over Lake Michigan."

XD

The Santa Clause is also a good one, but I can't quote it to hell and back like A Christmas Story.

Me and my family quote that movie all the time along with Christmas Vacation.

"Fra-gee-lay.....must be Italian" is my go to...

Even if I accept die hard as a Christmas movie, "I dont".. it's nowhere near the best one.

A Wish for Wings That Work: An Opus Christmas Story

Bad Santa

Olive: The Other Reindeer

It taint Christmas without 24-hours of A Christmas Story (Sonsabitches, Bumpuses! "...but I didn't say fudge..." and when Ralphie beats up Scutt Farkus, "He had yellow eyes. YELLOW EYES!!")

NADA FINGER!!

I only have it on VHS!

I suppose I should splurge and plop down ten bucks (I think I pay nearly that much for beer!) for the DVD. Gee, shows you how often I go to Amazon, eBay, and Walmart!

I'll ignore the slight breach of etiquette!

I call my younger daughter Randy because she ends up looking just like him, all overstuffed in the winter gear department, when they go outside to play in the snow. And because she can be a royally picky damn eater sometimes. When she was much younger, the "mommy's little piggy" scene did sometimes play out word for word at our dinner table, lol.

My husband's favorite line is the classic: "Sons of bitches!! Bumpasses!!"
We have a neighbor with a dog that can go nuts barking from time to time. Right after we moved in, which was just before Christmas, that dog was going off one afternoon in their back yard. Hubby couldn't help himself, and had to holler that out. It got real quiet for a moment, and his owner cracked up and hollered back, "If he busts out and eats your turkey, feel free to shoot him!"

A Christmas Carol (George C. Scott).

Doctor Who "The Snowmen".

"A Christmas Story" would be the hands-down tops, if it wasn't so overshown every year. Love it, just not channels dedicating entire days to it.
