Democrats are guaranteeing themselves a huge loss of power in 2020. The vast majority didn't campaign in their local districts with promises of "We'll get Trump!". Not even nutjob Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is obsessed like Waters, Pelosi and Cummings are to hurt the U.S. President.

Take illegals, what is their plan? Trump has already shown he is willing to work with the left, but they don't want him to have any any success in a effort to take 2020...

You're 100% spot-on. President Trump had "Chuck and Nancy" come to the White House early in his presidency, to work on projects of mutual interest. But as you said, they didn't want to help American Citizens while Trump is in office.

Looks like Whitaker may be Attorney General for at least the next 6 months.

www.inquisitr.com...

That's plenty of time for him to reign Bob Mueller in. President Trump is making Democrats angry, and he loves it!

Whitaker is acting AG, part of the Executive Branch. Not the Judicial. Only recently named acting AG too, and as far as I can tell, Michaels is the one who initiated the court action about his right to buy a gun. I doubt he really cares much about who is named acting AG right now.

I get your point and you're probably right, but I guess I don't understand the complexities of the higher courts. How does an Executive branch appointment(acting AG or even AG for that matter) affect the Judicial branch(the Supreme Court)?
They serve entirely different functions in our system of checks and balances, at least from what I remember from HS civics.

The Mainstream Media is sensing that their window for keeping their crimes hidden is coming to a close.

NBC is actually printing FAKE HEADLINES in order to build animosity towards AAG Whitaker.

This Headline is Totally Misleading: www.cnbc.com...

Now we have a CONVICTED DRUG TRAFFICKER attempting to get Matthew Whitaker removed as the Acting Attorney General.

A convicted drug trafficker from the Dominican Republic has joined the ranks of those challenging President Donald Trump’s appointment of Matthew Whitaker as acting attorney general.

Due to a technical issue raised by a federal appeals court, Tomas Castillo was re-sentenced Nov. 8 to a term of more than 10 years in prison for smuggling more than five kilograms of coc aine by boat into St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands in 2016.

That re-sentencing took place the morning after Trump forced the resignation of Attorney General Jeff Sessions and installed Whitaker, who had been Sessions’ chief of staff, to serve as attorney general on an acting basis.

Less than a week later, Castillo’s court-appointed lawyer — Joseph DiRuzzo of Fort Lauderdale — asked to set aside Castillo’s new sentence on the grounds that Trump’s appointment of Whitaker was unconstitutional.

More evidence that Matthew Whitaker is the RIGHT PERSON for job of U.S. Attorney General.

How does this confirm Whitaker as the right guy?

He cant be AG you know right?
Hes a plant to hopefully divert the rule of law in a way that trump can escape prosecution.
But I wouldn't count on it.
This week is going to be a real bumpy ride for him.

AKA he rightfully holds the opinion Mueller is illegitimate and his prove is a political witch hunt.

His right to have any opinion he wants.

Enjoy the end of Mueller - another giant fizzle, but you all are used to major disappointments by now. I know I am, at least with ~35% of the population, very disappointed actually. Ashamed, really. I cringe when I read nonsense like your post. Heck I'm embarrassed for you

"Standing by your man" is honorable, but only when they haven't been exposed as a partisan tool with a biased agenda conducting a fake investigation of non-crimes

Anyhow, I'm far more concerned about prosecuting leftist treason and persecuting socialists/dirt communists

Too bad Mueller can't breathe without AG Whitaker's direct permission. Mueller has to raise his hand like a weak school boy to take a leak.

He can't be AG? Explain why exactly.....

Although Trump never nominated a replacement when Sessions resigned, if he chose to do so our Senate majoric would quickly and easily rubber stamp him through and you all are totally powerless to prevent it

Who knows, maybe enough "activisting" (heavy roll eyes) will matter for a change. I wouldn't bet on it though.

Face it, the government is ours and we aren't going anywhere until we've cured this sick nation's metastatic cancer.

His assignment to Acting via the VRA prevents him from being the appointee/nominee. It's within the VRA itself.

Now that all the authorities WHO MATTER, have cleared Matthew Whitaker to be the genuine Acting Attorney General, the MSM is shooting their last shots at him...and a very weak ones at that.

If you Google "Whitaker" today, you'll see pages of results that are WORD-FOR-WORD, just like this one:

The Washington Post just keeps digging into Matthew Whitaker's past to find anything to complain about. That publication must be scared as hell of him!

Washington Post: As U.S. Attorney, Matthew Whitaker almost destroyed a small Iowa town by having so many illegal aliens removed from their jobs at the local plant!

The SUPREME COURT Has Spoken:

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court is refusing to be drawn into a dispute over the appointment of Matthew Whitaker as the acting U.S. attorney general.

The justices on Monday rejected an appeal in a case dealing with gun rights that also included a challenge to President Donald Trump’s appointment of Whitaker to temporarily lead the Justice Department.

The appeal claims Whitaker’s appointment is illegal under federal law and asks the court to name Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein as a party in the case, instead of Whitaker.

If Democrats are "nervous" over Matthew Whitaker as Attorney General, they should NOT give his replacement, William Barr, a hard time when his confirmation hearings begin tomorrow.
