Lawn edger. It's a tool for manual labor. No wonder younger people don't recognize it.

True.

I had my share of pain in the ass work with those things. Probably the worst 'yard work' activity out there... Well, aside from cycling tall, thick grass.

I see my 12yr old son swinging around something that looks like a lawn edger when he's bashing things in Fortnite. That's about as close as he gets. We've got fake grass now so his chores don't get any tougher than emptying the dishwasher.

WOW first look I knew what it was. I don't know if that makes me smart or just old 43 this year. I still have one in my garage that my late father had in the garage when I was a kid. Still works great just keep it lubed up and sharp. I use all hand tools to do my landscape as my yard is not to huge so a push mower, some brush/tree trimmers,a rake and a edger is all it takes...
