"I occasionally think how quickly our differences worldwide would 'NOT' vanish if we were facing a 'Supposed' alien threat from inside our government. And yet I've not asked - is not another governing element already among us?"

It's a pretty clear cut case that doesn't require reams of explanation for me.

In the opening hours of this event our military authored a press release stating that wreckage from a unidentified flying vehicle of unknown origin had been recovered. There is no logic to use that as a cover story for any other event that may or may not have happened. Misinformation to cover a secret event would need to be plausible and reasonable when weighed in the public mind. This wasn't.

Just about any guy in the 509th could have dreamed up a better story to cover any real classified program that may have been compromised better than saying it was a UFO.
