My first flat screen was a 47" that we got at Walmart.

A Vizio. Bought it at least 8 or 9 years ago.

It's been a great TV. I still have it and it still works. At least it did when I put it in the basement last year. We bought a new house and well, of course had to put a new TV in the living room.

Check out Vizio, quality TV's and decent prices.

Keep watch on this website -
slickdeals.net...

If you have a tablet or smartphone, they have apps for both iOS and Android.
They show a lot of Walmart tv deals along with other places.
Plus they show deals for everything else you can think of.
I have the app on my iPad and I check it pretty much daily.

2 other members have posted about their positive experience with Vizio, so I'll add my recommendation for that brand too. I used to manage an electronics store, and based on that experience I wouldn't advise you to get a SHARP TV.

No thanks, I have two already. And a potato. And a really nice pit grouping. Right time, right place.

what do you think?

seems like everyone i talk to in real life says go here or go there.

so i figure i would ask here

not looking for the best tv around. just looking for a decent tv at a good price.

so far man it looks like wal mart is probably the spot

www.walmart.com...

Sharp 55" Class 4K Ultra HD (2160p) HDR Smart LED TV

so right now price is what i am most concerned with

the only must haves are 4k
led
55 or larger

everything else is a bonus. smart would be cool but i dont need it. i have a smart blu ray. a roku and an android box.

so where do you get your tv's from? any site/box type store you recommend?

thanks

I personally own the exact Sharp model listed in your OP. It will not disappoint. Sounds exactly as you are describing. Not the best.

But a damn good TV for the price. HDR, 55inch perfect size, 4k. Cant beat that for the price. And the colors dont dissapointe imo.

I actually picked it up last year, two of them actually, one as a gift. At Best Buy on black friday for 170$ each. Lol. There is my story and recomendation!

And forgive me for being a dirty consumer black friday ewww.

I dunno. I'm looking to upgrade from a 55" smart tv a 70-75", and Amazon has a Sony 4k 75" Smart TV for around $1200, free shipping. I've gotten lesser named brands in the past and they've been fine, so yeah Walmart and Amazon are good places to look, especially near Black Friday.

Not top of the line but still..

To get a complete list of TV's in the UK, visit argos.co.uk, and look under Televisions. That gives you a good range of ways to compare prices and features. Usually there's something in every £10 interval price slot.

It was the best place to build a complete spreadsheet list of all possible choices along with price and options.
