Heard this alot on Kansas City's KY-102 ("We Rock Kansas City") in the early 90's

On Friday at 5pm, they would set off their "rock and roll weekend" by a montage of music clips that mentioned the weekend. "Nothing matters but the weekend..." was prominent.
The selection was one of the first mp3's I ever downloaded. Thanks for the post.
