Hot in the City ?

Me I am all for Pretty wherever it may be. I was surprised at the location but hay whatever draws some paying guests.
The mayor is grinning.
I am sure some will be cringing.

The mayor who wants a 'sexy' police force The town of Broummana in Lebanon has hired a group of young women as auxiliary police officers for the summer - and dressed them all in shorts. With their male colleagues still wearing trousers, the issue has caused a stir in the press and on social media.

All the dudes would be staging "reasons" for them to frisk them. I need one on my street.

Yep. The BBC video is much more informative.

My observations and thoughts:
1. The girls don't mind it.
2. Most of the residents that were interviewed didn't mind.
3. The mayor want's to attract world attention to his cosmopolitan community in a rather conservative nation.
4. They are wearing regular shorts, not "Daisy Dukes."
5. All of the girls that I saw in the videos were quite good looking; and none were minors.
6. While I'm not offended by men wearing shorts, seeing a bunch of men's hairy legs walking around the city does not increase its beauty.

Therefore I must conclude that I approve of this action. And we have no right to impose our sense of women's rights on their community.
