Nathan Larson, a man who advocates pedophilia, white supremacy and rape, and who served 16 months in prison for threatening to kill the president, is running for Congress.

I'd think not.

Will this guy get a vote, sadly, yes.

But yeah, he may get a few votes; perhaps from sickos that share his thoughts, or probably more likely from the "burn it all to the ground" crowd.

My intitial reaction was this was a troll.

But the article claims he has a record for threatening to kill Obama and Bish in 2007, so clearly the guy is a nut.

For the record, as a conservative, I would like to poke my own "side" a little.

Ed Gillespie, last year's Republican nominee in the gubernatorial race, cited Larson's candidacy as a reason that restoring rights to felons was a bad idea and faulted Democrats who supported the move.

Come on now. There are plenty of nuts running or saying stuff without a record.

Self claimed nazis are running as republicans in Michigan and California (I think), and I find it ridiculous to blame republicans for that.

This guy is way too honest and upfront to ever get into politics. Why, he would look as pure as the driven snow in comparison to those he would be surrounded by in office. They need someone much worse just to keep up appearances. This will never fly.

Oh, we had some KKK guy who ran in Missouri during one of the last election cycles.

He made a splash because he dug up the money to run a radio spot on one of the two local talk stations, so, of course, it was all conservative = KKK thing, but the guy had the money to buy the spot.

I don't even think he got enough of the vote to report on because after that, I never heard much more about it.
