I missed this ruddy thread.
It was mine on the 18th hold on is it still the 18th over there?.
Everyone forgot mine and then my step gran ruddy died.


Anyhow I'm moving mine to saturday .

I knew there were a couple of people who shared the same Birthday, but couldn't remember who. Happy belated Birthday Hun! HUGS!

Mine was on Tuesday, 17.

I might have shared this, but will again anyhow!

I find a dive bar in Anchorage that I like hanging out at. A tiny place. Maybe 40 people can fit in there? 50 on St. Patty's Day! lol. Anyway, get off work and walk the three blocks up. I figure, "Yeah, I am going to walk in there and become the biggest fish in the pond! "Hey Everybody! Its TEOT's birthday!!!" They cheer and throw soft cheeses at me to recognize my b-day." Then I walk in and there is a group in the back. An off-shift bartender, sports guy, loud guy, lady portion of the regular couple, waitress, (I would later all know their names!), all back there eating cake and drinking beers (and pink drinks!). Empty shots on the tables. "Hi TEOT, what would you like?", asks the bartender. Me, slightly confused, "Uh, birthday beer. I guess." "BULL SH#!!! Let me see your ID!" is all the response I get. "Go join them in the back. 'Hey guys!! We have another!!!'" Turns out I was number 6 in the back room with the same b-day. While we were back there two more showed up!

I still see them out and about and they always ask what I am doing on my birthday!!

Nothing like a city welcoming you “home”!

All these years later, I know a couple mayors, a couple governors, and most of the IT community so I have found my pond!

Seriously, sitting at the bar and the ex-mayor starts to slowly knock you you over!... my kind of city!
