Maybe im reading this wrong but all the russian said was the missles didnt cross their sector. Not that most of them were intercepted.

so The Assad regime, currently winning the war, decides to use chemical weapons on its own people, knowing very well it will face western retaliation which could embolden the rebel. Does that make any sense to anyone with more than two brain cells?

See.. It's in the guise of a regular manufacturing facility. No big flashing sign saying CHEMICAL WEAPONS FACTORY.

Even tho it is/was. That way.. the locals can say "But.. It WASNT one! ".

maybe because he knows we have no intention of actually launching full scale military operations to destroy his government or military, why should he care about losing a few facilities if he's trying to win a civil war? hell it could be a political rival within the syrian military or government trying to ruin the plans of assad by angering the people and making them think it was him, try thinking in color instead of unimaginative logic that ignores human behavior and thought.

Looking at EU media, you can clearly see how disappointed are EU politicians that there's no WW3 yet!
