dragon capsule for the iss, i love how they land the booster i hope it goes well for them


eta, they just said they will not be recovering the first stage so they can push it to the limits

i think so they can use the fuel they would use for slowing down and landing on getting the dragon capsule where it needs to go, and they are probably seeing how far they can push the booster if they don't have to recover.

they said about five mins ago they didn't even bother cleaning the outside of the booster from its last mission

No matter how many times I see a rocket launch, it always gives me goosebumps. An amazing feat of engineering to get it where it has to go.

Dont know if its the reason with this launch but they are in the process of using up older Falcon Block 3 Boosters. They are transitioning to Block 5 and will use them exclusivley going forward, so no reason to recover Block 3s after they got all the data they needed.
