Even I can understand that Jesus is referring to emotions and evils from within VS things that enters you (may it be outside food or other's words) and that end up in your belly.

Lol - Jesus definitely did not mean that you shouldn't eat some aliments because they'll "change your DNA".

He just spent minutes, hours, (I can't remember how long his speeches lasted) explaining that being the victim of evil does not defile your soul, whereas evil thoughts can make you a bad person, and you ignore it all.
