This is very odd indeed. The sun seems to shoot rays like a phaser. The video is 8 months old on youtube. What do you think? Intelligent sun?

Created by the combination of moving the camera around bad FPS on camera, clouds in front of the sun and the humidity in the air that day.

The electronic f-stop is constantly trying to correct light saturation due to the bright sun and the lens is jittering in and out to hold focus, also because it is more difficult with an extremely bright source.

strand of spider web hanging loosely over the lens, with a light breeze.

Kinda looks like a piece of transparency paper is in front of the lens and it jiggles every now and then and reflects/refracts/bends light.

There's a window between the camera and the view, probably a bit of jiggery pokery going on with a pointer as well.

It's our Sun sending Morse code.

I don't know Morse code, but I suspect it's something along the lines of "I'm really bored"

Ah yes, I remember my first time watching a recording of the sun.

or wake up creatures of earth? It seems too random to be a lens or fps issue. He obviously had a filter, could of been scratched.

I'll go along with the bit of spider web with debris stuck on it theory.

Considering it coincides with the movement of the camera, I'm going to guess that it has something to do with the camera/lens.
