CHICAGO – Newly released FBI wiretaps captured Democratic Illinois governor candidate J.B. Pritzker making racially insensitive comments during a call with then-Gov. Rod Blagojevich, including saying a popular lawmaker was the “least offensive” African-American to appoint to a Senate seat.
Pritzker, a billionaire businessman who’s considered the front runner in the March 20 primary, apologized on Tuesday during a news conference at a southern-style cafeteria on Chicago’s West Side where he was joined by African-American supporters.
On the recording, Pritzker suggested Blagojevich appoint Secretary of State Jesse White rather than other African-Americans, including Jesse Jackson Jr. or Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett. He says doing so “covers you on the African-American thing.”
“Of all the African-Americans that I can think of, that are sort of like qualified ... and people will say ‘Oh – that’s, you know that’s, that’s a pretty good pick,’ the one that’s least offensive and maybe gets you the most because it gets you that secretary of state appointment is Jesse White.”
Later in the call, Pritzker is heard laughing as Blagojevich jokes about appointing Obama’s former minister, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, whose comments dogged Obama’s 2008 campaign. Among other things, Wright said the U.S. brought on the Sept. 11 attacks by committing terrorism against others and that people should sing “God Damn America” rather than “God Bless America.”
A new study ranks Illinois as the No. 1 most moved from state last year. According to the 2017 National Movers Study by United Van Lines, more residents moved out of Illinois than into Illinois, with 63 percent of moves being outbound. In 2017, Illinois moved up one spot on the outbound list to No. 1, ranking in the top five for the past nine years.

Considering the outcry over Confederate Statues and accusations of President Trump as a Racist, it's unbelievable that Black leaders in Illinois are endorsing a racist as the next governor of Illinois. But they are!

Since that conversation took place, Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich was sentenced to prison, where he is today. But before being found guilty of Federal Corruption charges, Governor Blagojevich did indeed appoint the "least offensive" African American, Jesse White, to be the Secretary of State for illinois. He is still in that position, and well-liked by most citizens of the state.
After the wiretaps were published, J.B. Pritzker summoned the media and African American supporters. Here's a short news segment highlighting today's Endorsement & Support Press Conference in Chicago.
OH..and remember Luis Gutierrez, the Illinois Congressman who stormed out of President Trump's State of the Union Address, because he "can't stand this racist President", and all of his "racist Republican supporters"? Guess who he publically endorsed for Illinois Governor. That's right... J.B. PRITZKER!

Politics and Power, takes precedence over morals, ethics, and integrity, with Chicago's African American leaders. They endorse a real racist, but falsely accuse the President of the United States as being racist. A President who has done more for Black America in ONE YEAR, than the prior President...African American, Barack H. Obama, did for them in 8 years.
Go figure...
