What drugs were they making?wouldn't be meth,..doubt it was heroin...

Why would you rule that out? Afghanistan was the world's largest opium exporter for decades.

Actually in 2001 Afghanistan produced only about 7% of the world's opium, when The Taliban ran things. Since 'the war; invasion' that number has climbed to close to 90%. Anyone growing opium knows, it grows better in a "war zone"..

How about 'Destroy 9 labs which were run by their competitors'?

Edit: See Chart: en.wikipedia.org... If Your personal retirement fund showed the same growth, You'd be reading this all the while drinking "Umbrella Drinks"

And what has happened in the U.S. since 2001???

√ Opiate based pain medication epidemic

Then a majority of these folks were "cut off" by the very same doctors that wrote the script to begin with.

√ Heroin epidemic.

Those that didn't die from overdoses and then had their fund$ siphoned off in re-habs, court costs were then housed in

√ Private Prisons and jails.

Under U.S. control, then the Taliban kicked them out and it cut the exports down to like 5 percent before the U.S. re-invaded after 9/11. Now Afghanistan is producing something like 90 percent of global production again, because that's the way the U.S. wants it

They are doing this so that the various CIA labs won't have any competition.

And the media is telling these stories because they are told to. This gives the appearance to the public of grand progress in the war on terror.

guess that should have been done before but apparently the shady Democrats didn't want to choke off their big $$$$ deals

Yep, most of us here know that the CIA have been cultivating and shipping 'illegal' drugs and firearms for decades.

Well that's the drug war won then.

Money well spent getting those hugely expensive planes to drop hugely expensive munitions on some shacks full of recycled plastic tubs, consumer electrical goods and easily obtained chemicals.

Works every time.

Yay!

I think the possible point being missed here is this isn't a minor strike. In the You Tube video I posted, the General refers to 500 sites involved in Drug processing.

That implies a major and prolonged action.

Of lesser importance, in my mind, is why not sooner, but more is this as much a strike on CIA financing as it is the Taliban??

It's not particularly hidden that the deep state resides in our intelligence community and this action may indicate Trump is getting proactive on another level.

Not sure one way or the other, but the possibility shouldn't be ignored.....

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there a mention of this in the 4-Chan Q-Anon post?

"Drug labs" or "poppy fields" do they mean?

Thanks for blasting all the children nearby, since they would've become evil terrorists in a few years, too!

Lunacy.

I saw that too....usually I'd be skeptical about something like this but I actually have hope. The mention may have been post bomb drop as I think I saw it yesturday but still, I'm not so sure this was a dirty CIA move.

Because it's the Taliban. The guys who once in power went around systematically destroying poppy fields.

Remember one of the first things troops did when we went in was begin guarding heroin poppy fields. Plenty of first hand accounts about that.

Pharma needs heroin poppy to produce pain killers.

Note that once we invaded heroin supplies increased dramatically in the U.S.

Make of that what you will.

It probably was hashish as another poster said. Can't have people getting stoned because it puts them off war. Remember the trouble weed caused during the Vietnam war, all those people not wanting the mass burning/bombing of civilians.

Dude, they were the CIA action.

If they were after destroying drugs they have fields upon fields of poppies they could torch.
