Under the blankets
Here I am free
I can wiggle my toes
No dirty looks at me.
Under the blankets
Like a bug in a rug
Like a snail in its shell
Here I feel so snug.
Under the blankets,
the place I can ask why?
Oh my Lord,
why do you make your children cry?
Tucked in my blankey,
My mind roaming free,
Pillows are plumped,
Under my knees,
Layna bear saws trees,
Asleep next to me,
All cuddled up,
After a hot cup of tea,
All bundled up,
Window cracked for a breeze,
The lights are off,
In boxers and tee,
One final cough,
Crap,
Now I have a need to pee...
Respectfully,
~meathead

I hope this makes you smile. The worst thing is having a very uncomfortable bed and having to sleep in it when your bones are hurting.
