The Mars Rovers Thread

Sooo.... How are those rovers doing? Last I knew, they were "hybernating" or in stand-by mode because of the Mars winter. But that was a while ago. So whats up with them???

As of yesterday the rovers were crater hoping there way up the columbia hills according to the flight directors report

Man those are some amazing rovers cant believe there still alive. How long did they expect them to last like 90 days?

Well, I am talking about a long time ago. A couple months ago they were hybernating for winter.

Not too sure but i think the rovers were expected to die last September. So everything since and from now on has been a bonus. i think the pathfinder rover in 97 lived way passed its use by date also.

ET's link says they made it 200 something days past there warranty (90 days)
