I see law enforcement, the military and infrastructure as the primary responsibilities of government. Those planes should have already been operational. Congress has it's priorities screwed up for sure.

The oxygen system problems with the OBOGS are inexcusable. It affects multiple platforms, but the T-45 is the worst. They should have done a hell of a lot more before now to solve it. Their current "test" is putting a monitor in the oxygen masks that will take detailed readings of everything from O2 concentration, to CO2 the pilot exhales. This is something like 2 years after the problems started.

I recall how we were ordered to run tanks packs without oil so we get new engines on Ft Carson.
